Luka pasca insisi memerlukan manajemen perlukaan agar jaringan dapat berfungsi kembali serta menghindari infeksi sekunder. Bahan perawatan luka pasca insisi yang lebih alami, aman, dan minimal invasif diperlukan untuk mengatasi kekurangan suturing yang merupakan gold standard perawatan luka pasca insisi saat ini. Wound Healing Sheet (WHS) ekstrak Aloe vera dan albumen telur ayam kampung (Gallus domesticus) diharapkan dapat menjadi alternatif metode perawatan luka pasca insisi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh pemberian WHS ekstrak Aloe vera dan albumen telur ayam kampung terhadap jumlah vaskular pada proses penyembuhan luka insisi gingiva. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu eksperimental laboratoris in vivo dengan rancangan penelitian posttest-only control group design.  Penelitian ini menggunakan 28 ekor tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus galur Wistar) yang dibagi menjadi 4 kelompok yaitu P1 (WHS ekstrak Aloe vera konsentrasi 50%), P2 (WHS ekstrak Aloe vera konsentrasi 100%), KP (perlakuan suturing), dan KN (penyembuhan luka alami). Perlakuan dilakukan selama 7 hari. Sampel jaringan gingiva diambil pada hari ke-7 dan diamati jumlah vaskularnya. Data dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji One-way ANOVA dan Post Hoc LSD. Hasil penelitian yang didapat yaitu jumlah vaskular yang tertinggi terdapat pada kelompok P2 dan terendah pada kelompok KN. Uji statistik menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kelompok KP, P1, P2 dengan KN (p>0,05), tetapi tidak ada perbedaan signifikan antara ketiga kelompok P1, P2, dan KP (p<0,05). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini yaitu terdapat pengaruh pemberian WHS ekstrak Aloe vera dan albumen telur ayam kampung terhadap peningkatan jumlah vaskular pada proses penyembuhan insisi gingiva menyamai perawatan gold standard.

Post-incision wounds require wound management so the tissue can function again and avoid secondary infection. Post-incision wound care materials that are more natural, safe, and minimally invasive are needed to overcome the current weaknesses of suturing as gold standard of post-incision wound care. Wound Healing Sheet (WHS) made from Aloe vera extract and free-range chicken (Gallus domesticus) egg albumen is expected to be an alternative method of post-incision wound care. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect of the application of WHS made from Aloe vera extract and free-range chicken egg albumen on vascular counts in the healing process of gingival incision wounds. The research method used was an in vivo laboratory experiment with a posttest-only control group design. This study used 28 white rats (Rattus norvegicus Wistar strain), divided into 4 groups, namely P1 (WHS made from Aloe vera extract content 50%), P2 (WHS made from Aloe vera extract content 100%), KP (suturing treatment), and KN (natural wound healing). WHS Aloe vera extract and free-range chicken egg albumen were applied for 7 days. The gingival tissue was taken on the 7th day and the vascular count was observed. Data were statistically analyzed using One-way ANOVA and Post Hoc LSD tests. The study results were that the highest number of vessels was in the P2 group and the lowest was in the KN group. Statistical analysis showed significant differences between S, P1, P2 groups with KN group (p>0.05), but there were no significant differences between P1, P2 groups and KP group (p<0.05). This study concludes that WHS made from Aloe vera extract and free-range chicken egg albumen affects the increase of vascular count in the healing process of gingival incisions similar to gold standard treatment.
