KECERNAAN PROTEIN KASAR DAN SERAT KASAR (IN VITRO) PELLET PAKAN KOMPLIT DENGAN IMBANGAN KONSENTRAT DAN HIJAUAN BERBASIS FODDER JAGUNG

Penelitian yang berjudul “Kecernaan Protein Kasar dan Kecernaan Serat Kasar (In vitro) Pellet Pakan Komplit dengan Imbangan Konsentrat dan Hijauan Berbasis Fodder Jagung” dilaksanakan di Green House dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimental dengan metode in vitro yang menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Materi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu pellet komplit berbasis fodder jagung dengan 3 imbangan, cairan rumen dari 3 ekor domba, dan bahan yang digunakan pada analisis in vitro dan proksimat protein kasar dan serat kasar. Perlakuan yang diterapkan pada penelitian ini yaitu 3 perlakuan dengan P1=30% fodder jagung dan 70% konsentrat, P2=50% fodder jagung dan 50% konsentrat, dan P3=70% fodder jagung dan 30% konsentrat. Variabel yang diukur adalah kecernaan protein kasar dan kecernaan serat kasar secara In vitro. Hasil dari penelitian yang tersaji dalam tabel analisis variansi didapatkan rataan kecernaan protein kasar pellet pakan komplit dengan P1=50,33±0,62%, P2=49,10±1,05%, P3=48,74±0,86% dan rataan kecernaan serat kasar pada P1=63,87±1,87%, P2=61,56±1,06%, P3=60,10±1,00%. Berdasarkan analisis variansi didapatkan bahwa data berpengaruh nyata (F hitung > 0,05) ditinjau dari kecernaan protein kasar dan pellet pakan komplit dengan imbangan fodder jagung dan konsentrat berpengaruh sangat nyata (F hitung > 0,01) terhadap kecernaan serat kasar. Uji lanjut DMRT menunjukkan bahwa pellet pakan komplit dengan imbangan hijauan berbasis fodder jagung dan konsentrat ditinjau dari kecernaan protein kasar dan kecernaan serat kasarnya pada perlakuan 1 berbeda nyata dengan perlakuan 2 dan 3 sedangkan perlakuan 2 dan 3 tidak berbeda nyata. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pellet pakan komplit dengan imbangan hijauan berbasis fodder jagung dan konsentrat dapat mempengaruhi kecernaan protein kasar dan kecernaan serat kasar ternak domba. Imbangan terbaik dalam pellet pakan komplit adalah 30% hijauan berbasis fodder jagung dan 70% konsentrat.

The research entitled “ Digestibility of Crude Protein and Crude Fiber (In vitro) Complete Feed Pellets with Ratio Of Concentrates and Corn Fodder-Based Forages” conducted in Green House and Animal Feedstuff Laboratory of Animal Science Faculty, Jenderal Soedirman University. The research was carried out experimentally using an in vitro method using a completely randomized design. The materials that used in this study were complete pellets based on corn fodder with 3 balances, rumen fluid from 3 sheep, and materials used in in vitro and proximate analysis of crude protein and crude fiber. The treatments applied in this research were 3 treatments with P1 = 30% corn fodder and 70% concentrate, P2 = 50% corn fodder and 50% concentrate, and P3 = 70% corn fodder and 30% concentrate. The variables measured were crude protein digestibility and crude fiber digestibility (in vitro). The results of the research presented in the analysis of variance table showed that the average digestibility of crude protein pellets of complete feed at P1 = 50.33 ± 0.62%, P2 = 49.10 ± 1.05%, P3 = 48.74 ± 0.86% and the average digestibility crude fiber at P1 = 63.87 ± 1.87%, P2 = 61.56 ± 1.06%, P3 = 60.10 ± 1.00%. Based on the analysis of variance, it was found that the data had a significant effect (F count > 0.05) in terms of the digestibility of crude protein and complete feed pellets with a balance of corn fodder and concentrate which had a very significant effect (F count > 0.01) on crude fiber digestibility. DMRT follow-up tests showed that complete feed pellets with forage based on corn fodder and concentrate in terms of crude protein digestibility and crude fiber digestibility in P1 were significantly different from P2 and P3, while P2 and P3 were not significantly different. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that complete feed pellets with a ratio of forage based on corn fodder and concentrate can affected the digestibility of crude protein and crude fiber in sheep. The best ratio of complete feed pellets is 30% forage based corn fodder and 70% concentrate.
