Pengaruh Tipe Kandang Berbeda Terhadap Bobot Awal, Konsumsi Pakan, dan Bobot Panen Ayam Niaga Pedaging Di PT BUSS, Sukabumi.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera, Kabupaten Sukabumi, Provinsi Jawa Barat pada kandang opened house dan semi closed house. Populasi kandang opened house sebanyak 10.000 ekor dan kandang semi closed house sebanyak 13.000 ekor selama 10 periode pemeliharaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh tipe kandang yang berbeda terhadap bobot awal, konsumsi pakan dan bobot akhir ayam niaga pedaging. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode observasi dan pengambilan data dari perusahaan. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu variabel dependen (bobot awal, konsumsi pakan dan bobot panen) serta variabel independen (kandang opened house dan kandang semi closed house). Data yang diambil yaitu masing masing 10 sampel bobot awal, konsumsi pakan, dan bobot panen kandang opened house dan semi closed house. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis uji T. Hasil analisis uji T pengaruh tipe kandang berbeda terhadap bobot awal thit<ttabel (0,55<1,73) tidak ada hubungan signifikan. Pengaruh tipe kandang yang berbeda terhadap konsumsi pakan 0,84<1,67 tidak memiliki hubungan signifikan. Hasil analisis uji T pengaruh tipe kandang berbeda terhadap bobot panen thit>ttabel, artinya ada hubungan signifikan/berpengaruh secara nyata. Rataan konsumsi pakan kandang opened house sebesar 2350 gr/ekor dan rataan bobot akhir 1,594 kg, sedangkan konsumsi pakan kandang semi closed house sebesar 3016 gr/ekor dengan rataan bobot akhir 2,004 kg. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kandang semi closed house lebih unggul dari kandang opened house.

This research was conducted at PT Berkat Unggas Sehat Sejahtera, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province in open house and semi closed house cages. Population of 10,000 open cages and 13,000 closed semi closed cages during 10 maintenance periods. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of different types of cages on the initial weight, feed consumption and final weight of commercial broilers. The method used in this study is the method of observation and data collection from the company. The variables used are the dependent variable (initial weight, feed consumption and harvest weight) as well as the independent variables (open house cages and semi closed house cages). The data taken were 10 samples of initial weight, feed consumption, and harvest weight of open house and semi closed house cages respectively. The data analysis used was the T-test analysis. The results of the T-test analysis for the effect of different types of cages on the initial weight <ttable (0.55<1.73) had no significant relationship. The effect of different types of cages on feed consumption 0.84<1.67 has no significant relationship. The results of the T analysis of the effect of different types of cages on harvest weight thit>ttable, meaning that there is a significant/significantly significant relationship. The average feed consumption for open house cages was 2350 gr/head and the average final weight was 1594 kg, while the feed consumption for semi closed house cages was 3016 gr/head with an average final weight of 2004 kg. It can be interpreted that semi closed house cages are superior to open house cages.
