Artikel hasil penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh tingkat kepercayaan politik terhadap perilaku memilih masyarakat di Kelurahan Kober, Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat, Kabupaten Banyumas dalam Pemilihan Bupati Banyumas Tahun 2018. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik simple random sampling. Populasi penelitian ini berjumlah 5.341 orang, dan sampel yang digunakan setelah dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin dengan margin of error 10% maka jumlah responden adalah 100 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner kepada responden. Sedangkan teknik analisa data yang digunakan ialah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji korelasi rank spearman dan uji regresi ordinal. Hubungan antara variabel tingkat kepercayaan politik dengan perilaku memilih berdasarkan perhitungan korelasi rank spearman yaitu sebesar 0,313 dengan arah hubungan yang positif. Meskipun terdapat korelasi, tetapi hubungan antara keduanya masuk dalam kategori rendah. Adapun pengaruh berdasarkan perhitungan regresi ordinal yaitu pada nilai nagelkerke dalam tabel pseudo r square memiliki besaran nilai 0,338 atau 34%. Angka tersebut dimaknai bahwa besaran pengaruh antara variabel tingkat kepercayaan politik terhadap perilaku memilih sebesar 34% sedangkan sisanya, yaitu 66% perilaku memilih dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

The purpose of this study was to determine wheter or not the influence of the level of political trust on the voting behaviour of the people in Kober Village, West Purwokerto District, Banyumas Regency in the 2018 Banyumas Regent Election. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling technique. Respondents in this study were all residents living in Kober Village who were registered in the DPT and had used their voting rights in the 2018 Banyumas Regent Election. The population of this study amounted to 5,341 people, so the sample to be used after being calculated using the slovin formula with a margin of error 10% then the number of respondents is 100 people. The distribution of questionnaires to respondents will be carried out as a data collection technique in this study. While the data analysis techniques that will be used are validity test, reliability test, Spearman rank correlation test, and ordinal regression test. The relationship between the variable level of political trust and voting behaviour is based on the calculation of the correlation rank spearman, which is equal to 0,313 with a positive direction. Even though there is a correlation, the relationship between the two is in the low category. The effect is based on ordinal regression calculations, namely the nagelkerke value in the pseudo r square table has a value of 0,338 or 34%. This figure means that the magnitude of the influence between the variable of the level of political trust on voting behaviour is 34% while remaining 66% of voting behaviour is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
