Keaktifan kader di Posyandu dipengaruhi oleh faktor pengetahuan dan motivasi. Pengetahuan kader tentang Posyandu dan tugas-tugasnya serta motivasi kader  akan berpengaruh  terhadap kemauan dan perilaku  kader untuk mengaktifkan kegiatan Posyandu, sehingga akan mempengaruhi terlaksananya program  kerja Posyandu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Health Promotion Model  terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi kader Posyandu di Kelurahan Kober Kecamatan 
Purwokerto Barat.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian  Quasi eksperiment  dengan pendekatan  pretest and posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua kader Posyandu di Kelurahan Kober yang berjumlah 97 kader. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 48 responden yang diambil dengan metode purposive sampling selama masa penelitian pada bulan Oktober 2012. instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner dan dianalisis dengan uji  wilcoxon signed ranks  test.  Hasil  analisis dengan uji  wilcoxon signed ranks test diketahui bahwa nilai p=0,000, p < α (0,05). Sebelum dilakukan Health Promotion Model  tingkat pengetahuan responden adalah 12,50% kurang baik, 
81,25% cukup baik, 6,25% baik dan tingkat motivasi responden adalah 12,50% rendah, 72,92% sedang, dan 14,58% tinggi. Setelah dilakukan Health Promotion Model tingkat pengetahuan responden adalah 14,58% baik dan 85,42% cukup baik, sedangkan tingkat motivasi responden adalah  62,50% memiliki motivasi sedang dan  37,50% memiliki motivasi tinggi.  Terdapat pengaruh  Health Promotion  Model  terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan motivasi kader Posyandu di Kelurahan Kober Kecamatan Purwokerto Barat.

Liveliness  of  cadres in  Posyandu  are  influenced by knowledge and motivation.  The cadres’ knowledge about Posyandu,their duties and also their motivation will effect  to willingness and behavior of cadres to  perform the activities of Posyandu, so  it will effect the implementation of work program  in Posyandu.  This research was done  in order to know about  the  influence  of  Health  Promotion  Model  to  increase  the knowledge and motivation cadres of Posyandu  in the Kober Village West Purwokerto District  .  This research  was a  Quasi experimental  with  pretest and posttest design approach. The population in this  research  consist all of Posyandu’s Cadres in  Kober 
village  that have 97 of cadres. The number of sample research by 48 respondents were taken by purposive sampling method during the  research period in October 2012. The instrument used was a questionnaire and analyzed by Wilcoxon signed ranks test. The results of analysis with wilcoxon signed ranks test was  known that the value of p = 0.000,  p <α (0.05). The knowledge level of respondents before the Health Promotion Model done was 12.50% is good less, 81.25% is quite good, 6.25% good, and the level of motivation of the respondents  is 12.50% low, 72.92% moderate, and 14.58% higher. After the Health Promotion Model  has been done, the knowledge level of respondents 
was  14.58%  good  and 85.42% quite good, while the level of motivation of the 
respondents  is 62.50% were moderate motivated and 37.50% have a high motivation. There is  the influence of  Health  Promotion  Model  to  increase  the knowledge and motivation cadres of Posyandu in the village Kober district west Purwokerto.
