Kajian Pemberian Pupuk NPK-SR dengan Berbagai Grade dan Ukuran Zeolit Alam Terhadap Penguapan Gas NH3 dan Hasil Padi Sawah

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk NPK-SR dengan berbagai grade dan ukuran zeolit alam terhadap penguapan gas NH3 dan hasil padi sawah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di screen house dan Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, yang berlangsung dari bulan Oktober 2021 sampai April 2022. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan acak kelompok lengkap (RAKL) yang terdiri dari dua faktor dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama adalah komposisi pupuk yang terdiri atas enam taraf. Faktor kedua adalah ukuran zeolit alam yang terdiri atas tiga taraf. Variabel pengamatan penelitian ini meliputi penguapan gas NH3, bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman, bobot segar gabah bernas, bobot kering gabah bernas, jumlah gabah bernas, dan jumlah gabah hampa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk NPK-SR dengan berbagai grade tidak berpengaruh terhadap penguapan gas NH3 dan variabel hasil tanaman padi. Ukuran zeolit alam juga tidak berpengaruh terhadap penguapan gas NH3 dan variabel hasil tanaman padi. Interaksi antara grade dan ukuran zeolit alam berpengaruh terhadap penguapan gas NH3 pada kumulatif 1 MST (Minggu Setelah Tanam) dan kumulatif 6-13 MST (Minggu Setelah Tanam), bobot segar gabah bernas, jumlah gabah bernas, serta jumlah gabah hampa. Penguapan gas NH3 terendah yaitu sebesar 92,99 µg N/cm2 pada kumulatif 1 MST (Minggu Setelah Tanam) dan 56,86 µg N/cm2 pada kumulatif 6-13 MST (Minggu Setelah Tanam). Hasil tanaman padi tertinggi pada bobot segar gabah bernas; jumlah gabah bernas; jumlah gabah hampa masing-masing sebesar 6,54 g; 235,44; 269. Grade NPK-SR dan ukuran zeolit alam yang direkomendasikan untuk tanaman padi sawah yaitu perlakuan K1 (pupuk NPK-SR grade 7-15-15) dan Z3 (ukuran zeolit alam 140 mesh).

This study aims to determine the effect of applying NPK-SR fertilizer with various grades and sizes of natural zeolite on the evaporation of NH3 gas and paddy rice yields. The research was carried out at the screen house and Laboratory of Soil Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto, which took place from October 2021 to April 2022. The study was conducted with a randomized completely block design (RCBD) consisting of two factors with three replications. The first factor is the composition of the fertilizer consisting of six levels. The second factor is the size of the natural zeolite which consists of three levels. The observation variables of this study include the evaporation of NH3 gas, the fresh weight of plants, the dry weight of plants, the fresh weight of pitted grain, the dry weight of pitted grain, the amount of pitted grain, and the amount of hollow grain. The results of this study showed that the application of NPK-SR fertilizer with various grades had no effect on the evaporation of NH3 gas and variable rice crop yields. The size of natural zeolite also has no effect on the evaporation of NH3 gas and variable rice crop yields. The interaction between the grade and size of natural zeolite affects the evaporation of NH3 gas at cumulative 1 WAP (Weak After Planting) and cumulative 6-13 WAP (Weak After Planting), fresh weight of pitted grain, amount of pitted grain, and amount of hollow grains. The lowest evaporation of NH3 gas was 92.99 μg N/cm2 at a cumulative of 1 WAP (Weak After Planting) and 56.86 μg N/cm2 at a cumulative of 6-13 WAP (Weak After Planting). The yield of rice crops is highest at the fresh weight of pitted grain; the amount of pitted grain; the amount of hollow grain of 6.54 g each; 235,44; 269. NPK-SR grade and natural zeolite size recommended for paddy rice plants are K1 treatment (NPK-SR fertilizer grade 7-15-15) and Z3 (natural zeolite size 140 mesh).
