Sekolah adalah sebuah lembaga yang dirancang untuk pengajaran siswa atau murid di bawah 
pengawasan pendidik atau guru. Sebagian besar negara memiliki sistem pendidikan formal yang 
umumnya wajib dalam upaya menciptakan anak didik yang mengalami kemajuan setelah mengalami 
proses pembelajaran. Di Kabupaten Purbalingga termasuk kabupaten yang memiliki banyak Sekolah dari 
jenjang Paud, Sekolah dasar, Sekolah Menengah Pertama, dan Sekolah Menengah atas, serta Sekolah 
Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang sangat diminati masyarakat. Adanya Sistem Informasi Geografi ini 
memudahkan para pengguna untuk mencari rute Sekolah dan memudahkan untuk para siswa yang ingin 
mendaftar sekolah agar dapat menemukan sekolah disekitar nya. Dalam pembuatan Sistem Informasi 
Geografi ini memerlukan Systems Development Life Cycle menganalisis secara bertahap, dan Webgis 
untuk menampilkan peta juga GPS untuk memastikan letak permukaan bumi dan menggunakan 
Perancangan UML seperti sequence diagram, dan usecase. Terdapat juga Metode waterfall dalam 
membuat Sistem Informasi Geografi ini seperti analisanya, implementasi, desain, pemeliharaan dan juga 
tahap pengujian. Tahap Pengujian menggunakan BlackBox untuk menguji Sistem apakah berjalan baik 
atau tidak dan sudah layak digunakan bagi pengguna.

School is an institution designed for teaching students or pupils under the supervision of 
educators or teachers. Most countries have a formal education system which is generally mandatory in 
an effort to create students who progress after experiencing the learning process. In Purbalingga 
Regency, it is a district that has many schools from the Early Childhood Education, Elementary Schools, 
Junior High Schools, and Senior High Schools, as well as Vocational High Schools (SMK) which are in 
great demand by the community. The existence of this Geographic Information System makes it easier for 
users to find school routes and makes it easier for students who want to register for schools to be able to 
find schools around them. In making this Geographic Information System, it requires Systems 
Development Life Cycle to analyze in stages, and WebGIS to display maps as well as GPS to determine 
the location of the earth's surface and use UML design such as sequence diagrams and use cases. There 
is also a waterfall method in making this Geographic Information System such as the analysis, 
implementation, design, maintenance and also the testing phase. The Testing Phase uses BlackBox to test 
whether the system is running well or not and is fit for use by users.
