Perusahaan sebagai pelaku usaha juga memiliki tanggung jawab tidak hanya dalam bidang ekonomi-bisnis namun juga pada tanggung jawab sosial karena pada kenyataannya bahwa keberadaan dan kegiatan suatu perusahaan ada di dalam masyarakat, hal tersebutlah maka muncul istilah tanggung jawab perusahaan terhadap sosial dan lingkungan dengan sebutan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).Pengaturan tentang Corporate Social Responsibility atau CSR dalam Pasal 74 Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2007 Tentang Perseroan Terbatas.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan yuridis normatif, penelitian normatif adalah penelitian hukum yang meneliti bahan pustaka sehingga disebut juga penelitian hukum kepustakaan disertai data primer sebagai pendukung.Metode analisis yang digunakan yakni normatif kualitatifyaitu metode yaitu pembahasan dan penjabaran yang disusun secara logis terhadap hasil penelitian terhadap norma kaidah maupun teori hukum yang relevan dengan pokok permasalahan.
Hasil penelitian Penerapan Pasal 74 Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2007 Tentang Perseroan Terbatas di PT. BPR Surya Yudhakencana memperoleh hasil sebagai berikut: PT. BPR Surya Yudhakencana sebagai perusahaan yang kegiatan usahanya di bidang keuangan telah melaksanakan Corporate Social Responsibility berdasarkan Surat Keputusan (SK) Direksi No. 17/KEP/DIR/A/VII/2019 tentang Kebijakan Program Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (Corporate Social Responsibility/CSR) tertanggal 15 Juli 2019, maka dalam rangka penerapan CSR telah sesuai dengan ketentuan Pasal 74 Undang-Undang Nomor 40 Tahun 2007 Tentang Perseroan Terbatas.

The company as a business actor also have responsibility not only in the economic business field but also in social responsibility due to the fact that the existence and activities of a company exist in the community, this is where the term corporate responsibility appears. Towards social and environment with the title of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).Arrangements regarding Corporate Social Responsibility or CSR in Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies.
This study uses a normative juridical approach, normative research is legal research that examines library materials, so it is also called library law research accompanied by primary data as a support. The analytical method used is normative qualitative, namely the method, namely the discussion and elaboration that is arranged logically on the results of research on legal norms and theories that are relevant to the subject matter.
The results of the research on the application of Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies at PT. BPR Surya Yudhakencana obtained the following results: PT. BPR Surya Yudhakencana as a company whose business activities are in the financial sector has carried out Corporate Social Responsibility based on Directors' Decree (SK) No. 17/KEP/DIR/A/VII/2019 concerning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Policy dated 15 July 2019, then in the context of implementing CSR it is in accordance with the provisions of Article 74 of Law Number 40 of 2007 Concerning Limited company.
