PEMODELAN FAKTOR – FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KETIMPANGAN DISTRIBUSI PENDAPATAN DI PULAU JAWA DENGAN MODEL REGRESI PANEL

Ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan merupakan salah satu indikator kesejahteraan masyarakat. Adanya distribusi pendapatan yang tidak merata berdampak juga pada pembangunan ekonomi. Penelitian ini membahas analisis regresi data panel untuk menentukan faktor–faktor yang mempengaruhi ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan di Pulau Jawa tahun 2011 hingga 2020 dengan bantuan software Eviews 10. Adapun faktor–faktor yang diduga mempengaruhi ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), Tingkat Pengangguran Terbuka (TPT), Produk Domestik Regional Bruto (PDRB) perkapita, dan Jumlah Penduduk Miskin (JPM). Fixed Effect Model (FEM) terpilih menjadi model terbaik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat variabel independen yang berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan di Pulau Jawa tahun 2011 sampai 2020. Selain itu, spesifik unit juga berprngaruh signifikan terhadap nilai Gini Rasio.

Unequal distribution of income is one indicator of community welfare. It also give an impact on economic development. This study discusses panel data regression analysis to determine the factors that affecting the unequal distribution of income in Java from 2011 to 2020 with the help of Eviews 10 software. The factors suspected to affect unequal distribution of income in this study are the Human Development Index (HDI), Open Unemployment Rate (OPR), Regional Gross Domestic Product (RGDP) per capita, and the number of poor people. The fixed effects model (FEM) was found to be the best model. The results showed that no variabels independent having significant effect on unequal distribution of income in Java from 2011 to 2020. Besides, the specific unit also affects significantly the value of the Gini Ratio. Keywords
