KAJIAN DOSIS CAMPURAN JAMUR PATOGEN GULMA TERHADAP RUMPUT TEKI IN VIVO

Rumput teki merupakan salah satu gulma utama yang sukar dikendalikan. Pengendalian rumput teki lebih menekankan pada penggunaan herbisida kimia sintetis. Pengendalian hayati rumput teki menggunakan campuran jamur patogen gulma, jamur Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., dan Chaetomium sp., menjadi alternatif pengendalian yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui campuran dan dosis jamur patogen yang dapat mengendalikan rumput teki. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dari September 2021 hingga Februari 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan RAK dengan 24 perlakuan dan diulang dua kali. Perlakuan yang dicoba terdiri atas jamur patogen dengan 8 taraf, yaitu kontrol, Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., dan Chaetomium sp. tunggal, dan gabungan, serta dosis dengan 3 taraf, yaitu 500 L/ha, 750 L/ha, dan 1000 L/ha. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan jamur patogen mampu mempercepat masa inkubasi sebesar 73,42 % dibanding kontrol. Perlakuan campuran tiga jamur patogen meningkatkan intensitas penyakit dan AUDPC sebesar 79,15 % dan 90,58 % dibanding kontrol. Perlakuan jamur Curvularia sp. mampu meningkatkan laju infeksi sebesar 70,89 % dibanding kontrol. Perlakuan jamur patogen tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap semua variabel komponen pertumbuhan rumput teki. Variasi dosis tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap variabel komponen patosistem maupun komponen pertumbuhan rumput teki.

Purple nutgrass is one of the main weeds that is difficult to control. Control of purple nutgrass places more emphasis on the use of synthetic chemical herbicides. The biological control of purple nutgrass uses a mixture of weed pathogenic fungi, Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., and Chaetomium sp., as an alternative for environmentally friendly control. This study aims to determine the mixture and dosage of the pathogenic fungi to control purple nutgrass. The research was carried out at the Plant Protection Laboratory and Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from September 2021 to February 2022. This study used RBD with 24 treatments and repeated twice. The treatments tried consisted of pathogenic fungi with 8 levels, i.e., control, Fusarium sp., Curvularia sp., and Chaetomium sp. single and combined, as well as doses with 3 levels, i.e., 500 L/ha, 750 L/ha, and 1000 L/ha. The results showed that the treatment of pathogenic fungi was able to accelerate the incubation period by 73,42 % compared to the control. Treatment of a mixture of three pathogenic fungi increased disease intensity and AUDPC by 79,15 % and 90,58 % compared to controls. Treatment of Curvularia sp. was able to increase the rate of infection by 70,89 % compared to the control. The treatment of pathogenic fungi did not significantly affect all component variables of purple nutgrass growth. The dose variation did not show a significant effect on the pathosystem component variables or the purple nutgrass growth component.
