FACTORS INFLUENCING THE IPO’S UNDERPRICING IN INDONESIA STOCK EXCHANGE (PERIOD 2007-2010)

This paper investigates the effect of underwriter reputation, age of company, firm size, profitability, and type of company to the initial return which reflect underpricing phenomenom. The sample was 41 companies which do initial public offering (IPO) in Indonesian Stock Exchange period 2007 until 2010. To prove the hypothesis of this research is applied Multivariate Linear Regression Model. The result show that underwiter reputation have significant and positive effect on underpricing.
