Eritropoietin alfa, salah satu dari golongan recombinant human erythropoietin merupakan terapi pilihan anemia pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik dengan anemia. Evaluasi penggunaan eritropoietin alfa penting dilakukan agar efektivitas klinis dan ekonomi bisa diperoleh pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan eritropoietin alfa pada pasien gagal ginjal kronik dengan anemia di RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto berdasarkan kriteria yang dibuat peneliti meliputi indikasi, proses indikator, komplikasi dan outcome. Kriteria dibuat berdasarkan jurnal-jurnal ilmiah dan text book yang relevan.
Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif evaluatif dengan sampel sejumlah 22 data rekam medik pasien gagal ginjal kronik dengan anemia yang menggunakan eritropoietin alfa bulan Januari - Mei 2012. Analisis data dilakukan dengan membandingkan antara data dan kriteria.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya kesesuaian indikasi yang terjadi pada 18 pasien (81,82%). Proses indikator merupakan parameter yang menjadi bahan monitoring penggunaan obat dan manajemen terapi, meliputi dosis yang menunjukkan kesesuaian dosis awal terjadi pada 14 pasien (66,67%) dan kesesuaian dosis pemeliharaan berdasarkan nilai hemoglobin terjadi pada 12 pasien (70,59%). Ketepatan penghentian pengobatan terjadi pada 18 pasien (81,82%). Nilai transferin sudah sesuai kriteria pada semua pasien. Kontraindikasi berupa pendarahan terus-menerus atau hemolysis tidak ditemukan. Interaksi obat dengan ACE inhibitor tidak ditemukan. Komplikasi hipertensi terjadi pada 13 pasien (59,09%). Outcome yang membaik bagi pasien ditinjau dari tercapainya target Hb yaitu 10 g/dL-11 g/dL terjadi pada 14 pasien (66,67%).

Erythropoietin alfa was one of the erythropoietin group that used as an option in the treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease with Anemia. Evaluate the use of erythropoietin alfa considered important because had hypertension adverse event and expensive. The purpose of this study to evaluate the use of erythropoietin alfa in chronic kidney disease with anemia patients at RSUD Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto based on criteria that include the indication, process indicators, complication and outcome measure. The criteria were based on scientific journals and text books (Drug Use Evaluation) that was relevant.
The method used is descriptive evaluative by samples of 22 data record of chronic kidney disease with anemia patients who used erythropoietin alfa. Data analysis was done by comparing the data and criteria was made by reseacher.
The results of this study demonstrated the reliability indications that happened in 18 patients (81,82%). Indicator process was a parameter that became drug use evaluation and therapy management material, include dose which showed intial dose reliability in 14 patients (66,67%) and dose reliability in haemoglobin value in 7 patients (43,75%), accuracy of treatment cessation exceed the target haemoglobin occured in 18 patients (81,82%), monitoring tranferin value calculation is corrrect (100%) , the risk factor that lead to continous bleeding or hemolysis was not found, the ACE inhibitor drug interaction was not found (100%). Hypertention complications occured in 13 patients (59,09%). Better outcome was showed in achieving of Hb value target (10 g/dL-11 g/dL) that happened in 14 patients (66,67%).
