Latar Belakang : Perilaku merokok merupakann masalah yang dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan dan fungsi sosialilasi keluarga merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya perilaku merokok terhadap remaja.
Tujuan : untuk mengetahui hubungan fungsi sosialisasi keluarga terhadap perilaku merokok remaja
Metodologi : Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif.. teknik pengambilan sempael menggunakan purposif sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 26 responden. Analisis data menggunakan univariat.
Hasil Penelitian : Sebagian besar responden berusia 16 tahun, sebagian besar responden memiliki perilaku merokok dalam kategori ringan sebanyak 11 (42,3%) responden, sedang sebanyak 6 (23,31%) responden dan berat 9 (34,46%) responden. Fungsi sosialisasi kelaurga menunjukan bahwa terdapat tingkat fungsi sosialisasi keluarga yang rendah sebanyak 6 (23,1%) responden, sedang 6 (23,1%) responden dan tinggi sebanyak 14 (53,8%) responden. Hasil ini menujukan bahwa perilaku merokok remaja dipengaruhi oleh fungsi sosialisasi keluarga.
Kesimpulan : Perilaku merokok sebagian besar telah dilakukan oleh remaja dan fungsi sosialisasi keluarga merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi remajja untuk merokok.

Background : Smoking behavior is a problem that can affect the health and function of family socialization is one of the factors that influence the occurrence of smoking behavior in adolescents.

Objective: To determine the relationship between family socialization function and adolescent smoking behavior

Methodology: This type of research is quantitative with descriptive methods. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a total sample of 26 respondents. Data analysis using univariate.

Research Results: Most of the respondents were 16 years old, most of the respondents had smoking behavior in the light category as many as 11 (42.3%) respondents, 6 (23.31%) respondents and 9 (34.46%) heavy respondents. The family socialization function shows that there is a low level of family socialization function with as many as 6 (23.1%) respondents, 6 (23.1%) respondents and 14 (53.8%) respondents high. These results indicate that adolescent smoking behavior is influenced by the function of family socialization.

Conclusion: Most of the smoking behavior has been carried out by adolescents and the function of family socialization is one of the factors that can influence adolescents to smoke.
