PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI BAWANG PUTIH (Allium sativum) DAN MINERAL ORGANIK TERHADAP KECERNAAN SERAT KASAR DAN PROTEIN KASAR PAKAN KAMBING PERAH

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh suplementasi bawang putih dan mineral organik dalam pakan terhadap kecenaan serat kasar dan kecernaan protein kasar pada kambing perah. Penelitian dilakukan di peternakan kambing perah CV. Abadi di Desa Bandasari, Kecamatan Dukuhturi, Kabupaten Tegal, Jawa Tengah dan di Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Materi yang dipakai adalah 16 ekor ternak kambing perah Sapera dara bunting dengan pakan yang digunakan yaitu 20 % konsentrat, 10% ampas tahu dan 70% hijauan. Bahan suplemen yang digunakan yaitu bawang putih (Allium sativum) dan mineral Kromium (Cr) 1,5 ppm, Selenium (Se) 0,3 ppm serta Zink (Zn) 40ppm organik, rumensin, larutan asam borat, dan H2SO4 0,01N. Rancangan percobaan pada penelitian ini memakai rancangan acak lengkap (RAL). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode in vivo dengan empat kali pengulangan sehingga terdapat 16 unit percobaan. Perlakuan yang diberikan dalam penelitian R0 (Pakan Kontrol), R1 (R0 + Preparat Komersil Rumensin 30mg/Bb), R2 (R0 + 250 ppm bawang putih (1,7% allicin)), R3 (R2 + Mineral Organik (0,3 ppm Se + 1,5 ppm Cr + 40 ppm Zn-Lysinat)). Rataan kecernaan serat kasar yaitu R0= 65,47 ± 7,03, R1 = 87,53 ± 2,57, R2 = 84,09 ± 4,93, dan R3 = 84,20 ± 3,08%, dan rataan kecernaan protein kasar yaitu R0= 57,26 ± 5,05, R1 = 79,70 ± 5,82, R2 = 76,96 ± 3,50, R3 = 74,02 ± 5,67%. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukan bahwa perlakuan yang diberikan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kecernaan serat kasar dan kecernaan protein kasar. Kesimpulannya suplementasi bawang putih dan mineral organik pada pakan kambing dapat meningkatkan kecernaan serat kasar maupun protein kasar. Perlakuan terbaik suplementasi bawang putih dan mineral organik dengan rataan kecernaan serat kasar sebesar 84,20 ± 3,08% dan kecernaan protein kasar sebesar 74,02 ± 5,67%.

Abstract.This study aimed to examine the effect of garlic supplementation and organic minerals in feed on crude fiber digestibility and crude protein digestibility in dairy goats. The study was conducted at a dairy goat farm CV. Abadi in Bandasari Village, Dukuhturi District, Tegal Regency, Central Java and at the Animal Feed Stuff Laboratory, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University. The material used was 16 pregnant Sapera female dairy goats with 20% concentrate, 10% tofu dregs and 70% forage. The supplement materials used were garlic (Allium sativum) and 1.5 ppm Chromium (Cr) minerals, 0.3 ppm Selenium (Se) and 40 ppm organic zinc (Zn), rumensin, boric acid solution, and H2SO4 0 ,01N. The experimental design in this study used a completely randomized design (CRD). This study used the in vivo method with four repetitions so that there were 16 experimental units. The treatments given in the study were R0 (Control Feed), R1 (R0 + Rumensin Commercial Preparation 30 mg/Bb), R2 (R0 + 250 ppm garlic (1.7% allicin)), R3 (R2 + Organic Minerals (0.3 ppm Se + 1.5 ppm Cr + 40 ppm Zn-Lysinate)). The average digestibility of crude fiber are R0 = 65.47 ± 7.03, R1 = 87.53 ± 2.57, R2 = 84.09 ± 4.93, and R3 = 84.20 ± 3.08%, and the average digestibility crude protein are R0 = 57.26 ± 5.05, R1 = 79.70 ± 5.82, R2 = 76.96 ± 3.50, R3 = 74.02 ± 5.67%. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the treatment given had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the digestibility of crude fiber and digestibility of crude protein. In conclusion, supplementation of garlic and organic minerals in goat feed can increase the digestibility of crude fiber and crude protein. The best treatment was garlic and organic mineral supplementation with an average digestibility of crude fiber of 84.20 ± 3.08% and crude protein digestibility of 74.02 ± 5.67%.
