SITI WAHYUNI. Penelitian dengan judul “Tingkat Infeksi dan Pengaruh Umur Ayam Broiler yang diberi Pakan Tanpa AGP terhadap Koksidiosis di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas”. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat infeksi koksidiosis dan pengarauh umur yang berbeda pada ayam broiler yang diberi pakan tanpa AGP di Kecamatan Sumbang. Penelitian dilakukan di beberapa peternakan yang ada di wilayah Sumbang dan dilaksanakan mulai dari bulan Februari hingga April 2022. Materi yang digunakan yaitu ayam broiler fase starter umur 1-21 hari dan fase finisher 22-35 hari. Sampel yang diambil berupa fases ayam sebanyak 100 sampel dari 11 peternakan, metode penetapan pengambilan sampelnya dengan cara purposive sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode survey, analisis datanya menggunakan metode analisis deskripsi dan perhitungan chi-square. Hasil analisis diketahui bahwa tingkat infeksi koksidiosis pada ayam broiler di Kecamatan Sumbang yaitu sebesar 53%. Tingkat infeksi koksidiosis ayam broiler umur 1-21 hari sebesar 25%, sedangkan pada umur 22-35 hari sebesar 90%. Hasil analisis yang telah diketahui menunjukkan bahwa tingkat keparahan infeksi koksidiosis pada ayam broiler tanpa AGP di Kecamatan Sumbang Kabupaten Banyumas tergolong tinggi. Hasil dari perhitungan chi-square menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan pengaruh tingkat infeksi koksidiosis pada ayam broiler periode umur starter dan umur finisher yang diberi pakan tanpa AGP di Kecamatan Sumbang.

ABSTRACT
SITI WAHYUNI. This study entitled "Infection Rate and Effect of Age on Coccidiosis in Broiler Chickens that are Feeded Without AGP in Sub-District of Sumbang, Banyumas Regency". The purpose of this study was to determine the level of coccidiosis infection and the effect of age differences on broiler chickens fed without AGP in the Subdistrict of Sumbang. The research was conducted on several farms in the sub-district of Donor and was carried out from February to April 2022. The material used is broilers in the starter phase aged 1-21 days and the finisher phase 22-35 days. Samples were taken in the form of chicken manure as many as 100 samples from 11 farms, the method of determining the sampling was purposive sampling. The research method used is survey method, data analysis uses descriptive analysis method and chi-square calculation. The results of the analysis showed that the infection rate of coccidiosis in broiler chickens in the Subdistrict of Donor was 53%. The rate of coccidiosis infection in broiler chickens aged 1-21 days is 25%, while at the age of 22-35 days it is 90 %. The results of the analysis showed that the rate of coccidiosis infection in broiler chickens without AGP in the Sub-district of Sumbang, Banyumas Regency was relatively high. The results of the chi-square calculation show that there is a difference in the effect of the level of coccidiosis infection on broiler chicken in the starter and finisher age periods that are fed without AGP in the sub-district of Sumbang.
