PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI NUKLEOTIDA DAN EKSTRAK KUNYIT (Curcuma domestica Val) TERHADAP KADAR ASAM URAT DAN ALBUMIN AYAM BROILER

Penelitian dengan judul “Suplementasi Nukleotida dan Ekstrak Kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val) terhadap Kadar Asam Urat dan Albumin Ayam Broiler” bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan nukelotida dan ekstrak kunyit pada pakan terhadap kadar asam urat dan albumin ayam broiler. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 2 Juli – 8 Agustus 2021, pemeliharaan ayam bertempat di Peternakan ayam broiler, Desa Sokaraja, Banyumas dan pemeriksaan kadar asam urat dan albumin darah dilakukan di Laboratorium Pre Klinis Program Studi Diploma Kesehatan Hewan Universitas Gadjah Mada Yogyakarta. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, setiap ulangan menggunakan 6 ekor ayam broiler. Perlakuan yang berpengaruh diuji lanjut dengan uji Dunnet. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu Kontrol = Pakan Basal + Zink Bacitracin 100 mg/hari ; N0K0 = Pakan Basal ; N0K1 = Pakan basal + ekstrak kunyit 600 mg/kg pakan ; N1K0 = Pakan basal + nukleotida 250 mg/kg pakan ; N1K1 = Pakan basal + nukleotida 250 mg/kg pakan + ekstrak kunyit 600 mg/kg pakan ; N2K0 = Pakan basal + nukleotida 500 mg/kg pakan ; N2K1 = Pakan basal + nukleotida 500 g/kg pakan + ekstrak kunyit 600 mg/kg pakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi nukelotida dan ekstrak kunyit berpengaruh tidak nyata (F hit<F 0,05) terhadap kadar asam urat ayam broiler dengan nilai rataan sebesar 4,31 ± 1,2 mg/dL namun berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kadar albumin ayam broiler. Hasil uji lanjut Dunnet menunjukkan bahwa suplementasi nukleotida dan ekstrak kunyit menunjukkan pengaruh yang sangat nyata (P<0,01) pada kelompok perlakuan pakan basal + nukleotida 500 g/kg pakan + ekstrak kunyit 600 mg/kg pakan (N2K1). Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah suplementasi nukleotida dan ekstrak kunyit (Curcuma domestica Val) dalam pakan memberikan respon relatif sama terhadap kadar asam urat. Namun, suplementasi nukleotida 500 mg/kg dan 600 mg/kg ekstrak kunyit) di dalam pakan basal mampu meningkatkan kadar albumin darah ayam broiler dibandingkan kontrol dan perlakuan lainnya.

ABSTRACT The research with "Supplementation of Nucleotides and Turmeric Extract (Curcuma domestica Val) on Uric Acid and Albumin Levels in Broiler Chickens" the aims was to determine the used of nucleotides and turmeric extract in feed on uric acid and albumin levels in broiler chickens. The research was carried out on July 2 – August 8, 2021, the rearing of chickens took place at the Broiler Farm, Sokaraja Village, Banyumas and examination of uric acid and blood albumin levels was carried out at the Pre-Clinical Laboratory of Animal Health Diploma Study Program, Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta. The study was conducted using an experimental method using a completely randomized design with 7 treatments and 4 replications, each replication using 6 broiler chickens. Influential treatments was further tested with Dunnet’s test. The treatment given is Control = Basal Feed + Zinc Bacitracin 100 mg/day; N0K0 = Basalt Feed ; N0K1 = basal feed + turmeric extract 600 mg/kg feed; N1K0 = Feed basal + nucleotide 250 mg/kg feed ; N1K1 = Feed basal + nucleotide 250 mg/kg feed + turmeric extract 600 mg/kg feed; N2K0 = Feed basal + nucleotide 500 mg/kg feed ; N2K1 = Feed basal + nucleotides 500 g/kg feed + turmeric extract 600 mg/kg feed. The results showed that nucleotide supplementation and turmeric extract had no significant effect (F Cal < F 0.05) on uric acid levels in broiler chickens with an average value of 4.31 ± 1.2 mg/dL but had a very significant effect (P >0.01) on albumin levels in broiler chickens. Dunnet's test results showed that nucleotide supplementation and turmeric extract showed a very significant effect (P>0.01) in the in the basal feed + nucleotide 500 g/kg feed + turmeric extract 600 mg/kg feed (N2K1) treatment group. The conclusion of the study was that nucleotide supplementation and turmeric extract (Curcuma domestica Val) in feed gave relatively the same response to uric acid levels. However, nucleotide supplementation (500 mg/kg and 600 mg/kg turmeric exctract) in basal feed was able to increase blood albumin levels in broiler chickens compared to controls and other treatments.
