KONSUMSI PROTEIN KASAR DAN SERAT KASAR PAKAN KAMBING YANG DISUPLEMENTASI MINERAL KROMIUM ORGANIK DENGAN LEVEL YANG BERBEDA

Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suplementasi kromium organik dengan level yang berbeda pada pakan kambing terhadap konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Penelitian telah dilaksanakan secara in vivo di Gunung Tugel Farm, green house dan Laboratorium Ilmu Bahan Makanan Ternak, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto. Materi yang digunakan adalah 16 ekor kambing jawarandu. Pakan yang diberikan adalah silase dan konsentrat dengan perbandingan 30 : 70 (PK = 15,06% dan TDN = 66,74%). Variabel yang diamati adalah konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Perlakuan yang diberikan terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan yaitu R0 (pakan basal), R1 (R0 + kromium organik 0,5 ppm), R2 (R0 + kromium organik 1 ppm) dan R3 (R0 + kromium organik 1,5 ppm). Data dianalisis dengan analisis variansi. Hasil rataan data konsumsi protein kasar R0 = 141,56 ± 14,89; R1 = 163,30 ± 20,17; R2 = 163,30 ± 21,57 dan R3 = 161,07 ± 18,59 gram/ekor/hari. Hasil rataan konsumsi serat kasar R0 = 180,25 ± 20,34; R1 = 206,61 ± 13,39; R2 = 213,82 ± 31,79 dan R3 = 192,96 ± 18,93 gram/ekor/hari. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Suplementasi kromium organik (Cr) pada pakan kambing tidak mempengaruhi konsumsi protein kasar dan serat kasar. Suplementasi kromium organik (Cr) terhadap konsumsi protein kasar pakan kambing cenderung lebih baik menggunakan 0,5 ppm dengan rataan konsumsi secara 163,30 ± 20,17 gram/ekor/hari. Suplementasi kromium organik (Cr) terhadap konsumsi serat kasar pakan kambing cenderung lebih baik menggunakan 1 ppm dengan rataan komsumsi 213, 82 ± 31, 79 gram/ekor/hari

Research was conducted to determine the effect of organic Chromium supplementation with different levels on goat feed on the consumption of crude protein and crude fiber. The research has been carried out in vivo at Gunung Tugel Farm, green house and the Laboratory of Feed Stuff, Faculty of Animal Science, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto. The material used was 16 Jawarandu male. The feed given was silage and concentrates in a ratio of 30: 70 (CP = 15.06% and TDN = 66.74%). The observed variables were the consumption of crude protein and crude fiber. The treatment given consists of 4 treatments and 4 tests, namely R0 (basal feed), R1 (R0 + organic Chromium 0.5 ppm), R2 (R0 + organic Chromium 1 ppm) and R3 (R0 + organic Chromium 1.5 ppm). The data were analyzed by analysis of variance. Average yield of crude protein consumption data R0 = 141.56 ± 14.89; R1 = 163.30 ± 20.17; R2 = 163.30 ± 21.57 and R3 = 161.07 ± 18.59 gram/head/day. The average yield of crude fiber consumption R0 = 180.25 ± 20.34; R1 = 206.61 ± 13.39; R2 = 213.82 ± 31.79 dan R3 = 192.96 ± 18.93 gram/head/day. The results of the variance analysis showed that the treatment had an intangible effect (P>0.05) on the consumption of crude protein and crude fiber. Organic Chromium (Cr) supplementation in goat feed did not affect the consumption of crude protein and crude fiber. Organic Chromium (Cr) supplementation on crude protein consumption of goat feed tends to be better using 0.5 ppm with an average consumption of 163.30 ± 20.17 grams/head/day. Organic Chromium (Cr) supplementation on the consumption of crude fiber in goat feed tends to be better using 1 ppm with an average consumption of 213.82 ± 31.79 gram/head/day.
