KECERNAAN PROTEIN KASAR DAN SERAT KASAR PAKAN AYAM SENTUL DENGAN SUPLEMENTASI TEPUNG MAGGOT (Hermetia illucens) YANG DIHIDROLISIS ENZIM KASAR Rhizopus oligosporus

Maggot merupakan larva dari Black Soldier Fly yang memiliki potensi sebagai bahan pakan alternatif sumber protein. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengkaji suplementasi tepung maggot pada pakan ayam Sentul untuk meningkatkan kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar pakan ayam Sentul. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 7 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan yang diberikan yaitu R0 = pakan basal, R1 = R0 + 2% tepung maggot non hidrolisis, R2 = R0 + 4% tepung maggot non hidrolisis, R3 = R0 + 6% tepung maggot non hidrolisis, R4 = R0 + 2% hidrolisat tepung maggot enzim kasar Rhizopus oligosporus, R5 = R0 + 4% hidrolisat tepung maggot enzim kasar Rhizopus oligosporus, R6 = R0 + 6% hidrolisat tepung maggot enzim kasar Rhizopus oligosporus. Variabel yang diamati adalah kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar pakan ayam Sentul. Analisis data menggunakan ANOVA dan uji lanjut Ortogonal Kontras. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan suplementasi tepung maggot berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap kecernaan protein kasar dan kecernaan serat kasar pakan ayam Sentul. Rataan nilai kecernaan protein kasar pakan ayam Sentul sebesar 87,72 ± 0,96% dan rataan nilai kecernaan serat kasar pakan ayam Sentul sebesar 74,16 ± 1,75%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pakan suplementasi tepung maggot lebih baik daripada pakan basal, pakan suplementasi hidrolisat tepung maggot lebih baik daripada pakan suplementasi tepung maggot non hidrolisis, level pemberian tepung maggot non hidrolisis maupun hidrolisat tepung maggot berpengaruh terhadap nilai kecernaan dan suplementasi hidrolisat tepung maggot dalam pakan menghasilkan nilai kecernaan protein kasar dan serat kasar terbaik pada level pemberian 5,6% dan 6,5%.

Maggot is the larva of the Black Soldier Fly which potential as an alternative protein source. The study aimed to examine the supplementation of maggot flour in Sentul chicken feed to increase the digestibility of crude protein and fiber in Sentul chicken feed. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 7 treatments and 3 replications. The treatments were R0 = basal feed, R1 = R0 + 2% non-hydrolyzed maggot flour, R2 = R0 + 4% non-hydrolyzed maggot flour, R3 = R0 + 6% non-hydrolyzed maggot flour, R4 = R0 + 2% hydrolyzate of starch maggot crude enzyme Rhizopus oligosporus, R5 = R0 + 4% hydrolyzate of starch maggot crude enzyme Rhizopus oligosporus, R6 = R0 + 6% hydrolyzate of starch maggot crude enzyme Rhizopus oligosporus. Variables observed were the digestibility of crude protein and crude fiber of Sentul chicken feed. Data analysis using ANOVA and further test Orthogonal Contrast. The results showed that maggot flour supplementation had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on crude protein digestibility and crude fiber digestibility of Sentul chicken feed. The average crude protein digestibility value of Sentul chicken feed was 87.72 ± 0.96% and the average crude fiber digestibility value of Sentul chicken feed was 74.16 ± 1.75%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the feed supplementation with maggot flour is better than the basal feed, the feed supplementation with hydrolyzate maggot flour is better than the feed supplementation with non-hydrolyzed maggot flour, level supplementation of non-hydrolyzed maggot flour and hydrolyzate maggot flour affects the digestibility value and supplementation of hydrolyzate maggot flour in feed produced the best crude protein and fiber digestibility values at the level of 5.6% and 6.5% respectively.
