PENGARUH GALUR AYAM LOKAL DAN FEED ADDITIVE TERHADAP KADAR TOTAL PROTEIN PLASMA DAN FIBRINOGEN
Abstrak (Bhs. Indonesia)

The research "The effect of local chicken strains and feed additive on total plasma protein and fibrinogen levels" was carried out on July 13, 2021 - October 13, 2021, at the Experimental farm, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto and blood analysis at the Pathology Laboratory Clinical, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Gajah Mada University, Yogyakarta. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of the interaction of local chicken strains and feed additives on the levels of TPP and fibrinogen. The research design used was RAL (Completely Randomized Design) factorial pattern there were 2 factors consisting of factor A (chicken strain) and factor B (immunomodulator feed), factor A there were 3 types of local chickens and factor B there were 4 feeds, so that the treatment tested was 3 x 4 = 12 treatments and there were 4 replications. The research material used 3 types of local chickens, including A1 (Village Chicken), A2 (KUB Chicken) and A3 (Kedu Chicken) which had been previously reared from DOC, each of which was 160 so that a total of 480 tails, chicken feed for the early period up to growth (complete feed), basal feed, feed additive as an immunomodulator, and chemicals for blood analysis. The feed used was basal feed with the addition of several types of feeds additive consist of B1 (basal/control feed), B2 (addition of 1% Sambiloto flour), B3 (addition of 1% garlic flour), and B4 (addition of 1% Kalimun® flour). The treatments given were A1B1, A1B2, A1B3, A1B4, A2B1, A2B2, A2B3, A2B4, A3B1, A3B2, A3B3, A3B4. The variables measured included levels of TPP and Fibrinogen. Data analysis used analysis of variance (ANOVA). The average total plasma protein levels were 2.4 ± 0.3 g/dL to 2.8 ± 0.4 g/dL. The results of the average fibrinogen levels were 0.1 ± 0.1 - 0.3 ± 0.1 g/dL. The results of analysis of variance (ANOVA) showed that the interaction between local chicken strains and feed additive as well as each factor had no significant effect (F count < F tabel 0.05) on total plasma protein and fibrinogen levels (P> 0.05). It can be concluded that the free-range chicken, KUB, and Kedu strains had relatifly the same levels of TPP and fibrinogen. Supplementation of feed additives did not interfere with the physiological status of chickens based on fibrinogen and TPP levels. Kedu chickens with a combination of basal feed treatment with the addition of Kalimun® feed additive (1%) had higher TPP and fibrinogen levels than the control and other treatments.
