PENGETAHUAN APOTEKER TERKAIT SUPLEMEN SAAT PANDEMI COVID-19

Latar Belakang: Coronavirus disease 19 merupakan penyakit menular yang penyebarannya meluas sampai ke berbagai negara. Penggunaan suplemen di masa pandemi covid-19 ini ditujukan untuk membantu meningkatkan imunitas sebagai tindakan pencegahan covid-19, maka dari itu peran apoteker sangat penting untuk menyampaikan informasi terkait suplemen kesehatan. Pengetahuan apoteker yang baik dapat mendukung pengendalian terhadap covid-19. Tujuan: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan apoteker terkait suplemen saat pandemi covid-19. Metodelogi: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey cross sectional. Sebanyak 141 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Kuesioner dibagikan kepada apoteker di Kabupaten Banyumas pada bulan Juli 2021 secara online melalui google form. Data yang diperoleh dilakukan analisa secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian: Tingkat pengetahuan apoteker tentang suplemen saat pandemi Covid-19 yang termasuk dalam kategori baik sebanyak 45 responden (33,08%), cukup baik sebanyak 67 responden (49,26%) dan kurang baik sebanyak 24 responden (17,64%). Kesimpulan: Hasil penelitian tingkat pengetahuan apoteker kabupaten Banyumas yang memiliki jumlah responden terbanyak pada kategori cukup baik, sehingga apoteker perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan melalui pelatihan peningkatan kompetensi maupun secara mandiri.

Background: Coronavirus disease 19 is an infectious disease that spreads to various countries. The use of supplements during the covid-19 pandemic is intended to help increase immunity as an act of exposure to covid-19, therefore the role of pharmacists is very important to convey information related to health supplements. Good pharmacist knowledge can support the control of covid-19. Purpose: This study aims to determine the level of pharmacist knowledge regarding supplements during the covid-19 pandemic. Methodology: This study used a cross sectional survey method. The questionnaire was made by the researcher herself based on previous studies about each supplements. A total of 141 respondents who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected using the accidental sampling method. Questionnaires were distributed to pharmacists in Banyumas district. The data which obtained were analyzed descriptively. Results: The level of pharmacist knowledge about supplements during the Covid-19 pandemic which was included in the good category was 45 people (33.08%), quite good as many as 67 people (49.26%) and not good as many as 24 people (17.64%). Conclusion: The results of the study on the level of knowledge of pharmacists in Banyumas district which had the largest number of respondents in the fairly good category, so that to increase knowledge, pharmacists could conduct training or attend seminars held by related parties to increase knowledge every pharmacist
