PENGARUH PEMBERIAN MINYAK IKAN LEMURU TERHADAP KADAR ERITROSIT DAN TROMBOSIT PADA AYAM KAMPUNG

Penggunaan minyak ikan lemuru dengan kandungan omega-3 merupakan manipulasi pakan untuk meningkatkan imunitas danmenjaga kesehatan ayam dengan menstabilkan kadar eritrosit dan trombosit darah ayam kampung.Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam kampung betina umur 28 minggu sebanyak 60 ekor yang dipelihara selama 3 bulan,bahan pakan yang digunakan terdiri dari minyak ikan lemuru, minyak kelapa sawit, bungkil kedelai, dedak, jagung, dan top mix.Metode penelitian adalah eksperimental in vivo menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Perlakuan yang di berikan R0 = Penggunaan minyak ikan lemuru sebanyak 0,0%, R1 = Penggunaan minyak ikan lemuru sebanyak 2,5% R2 = Penggunaan minyak ikan lemuru sebanyak 5,0%, R3 = Penggunaan minyak ikan lemuru sebanyak 7,5%. Rataan hasil penelitian kadar eritrosit di dapat R0= 2,30x106/mm3;R1=1,75x106/mm3R2=2,10x106/mm3; R3=2,06x106/mm3 dan kadar trombosit R0=156x103/mm3, R1=120x103/mm3, R2=137,20x103/mm3, R3=482x103/mm3. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa pemberian minyak ikan lemuru dalam ransum ayam kampung berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap kadar eritrosit dan trombosit. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu :Pemberian minyak ikan lemuru sampai level 7,5% dalam pakan mampu menstabilkan kadar eritrosit dan trombosit darah ayam kampung.

The use of menhaden fish oil which contains omega-3 is a feed manipulation effort to improve immunity and the health of chicken through stabilize erythrocytes and thrombocytes (platelets).The research materials used were 60 heads of 28-week old local hens which received fed treatments for 3 months. The diet used were menhaden fish oil, coconut oil, soybean meal, ricebran, corn and top mix. The method used was experimental method using Compeletely Randomized Design (CRD). Treatments used were R0= utilization of menhaden fish oil 0.0%, R1 = utilization of menhaden fish oil 2.5%, R2= utilization of menhaden fish oil 5.0%, and R3= utilization of menhaden fish oil 7.5%. The examined variables were erythrocytesand thrombocytes content of local chicken. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance.The everage results of erytrocytes content were R0 = 2.30 x 106/mm3, R1= 1.75x106/mm3, R2 = 2.10x106/mm3, R3 = 2.06 x106/mm3, respectively, and the thrombocytes content were R0= 156x103/mm3, R1 = 120x103/mm3, R2 = 137.20x103/mm3, R3 = 482x103/mm3 respectively. The analisysis of variance showed that utilization of menhaden fish oil in diet of local chicken had no significant respons tf erythrocytes and thrombocytes content. The utilization of menhaden fish oil as much at 7.5% did not increase erytrocytes and thrombocytes contents of local chicken.
