Stroberi (Fragaria x ananassa Durch.) merupakan jenis buah-buahan yang memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi dan mempunyai banyak manfaat. Stroberi disukai banyak orang karena warnanya yang menarik dan rasanya yang segar. Untuk meningkatkan mutu tanaman stroberi dapat dilakukan dengan pemberian ZPT (Zat Pengatur Tumbuh) auksin, salah satunya yaitu IAA (Indole Acetic Acid) yang berfungsi untuk mengatur perbesaran/pembentangan sel dalam batang maupun akar sehingga tanaman stroberi akan tumbuh lebih berkualitas. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh IAA terhadap pertumbuhan stroberi dan untuk menentukan konsentrasi IAA yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan stroberi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan perlakuan 5 konsentrasi IAA yaitu 0, 2, 4, 6, dan 8 ppm, masing-masing perlakuan diulangi 5 kali sehingga terdapat 25 unit perlakuan. Variabel yang akan diamati adalah variabel bebas berupa konsentrasi IAA dan variabel terikat berupa pertumbuhan tanaman stroberi, dengan parameter yaitu jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, panjang akar, jumlah akar, berat basah, dan berat kering. Data yang diperoleh diuji menggunakan pengujian analisis ragam, dilanjutkan dengan uji Beda Nyata Jujur (BNJ) dengan taraf uji 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian IAA berpengaruh terhadap jumlah daun, panjang akar, tinggi tanaman, berat basah, dan berat kering tanaman stroberi dengan konsentrasi terbaik yaitu 8 ppm, sedangkan pemberian IAA tidak berpengaruh pada jumlah akar.

Strawberry (Fragaria x ananassa Durch.) is a type of fruit that has high economic value and has many benefits. Strawberries are much liked by many people because of their attractive color and fresh taste. To improve the quality of strawberry plants, it can be done by giving auxin (Growth Regulating) ZPT, one of which is IAA (Indole Acetic Acid) which functions to regulate the enlargement or expansion of cells in stems and roots so that strawberry plants will grow with higher quality. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of IAA on the growth of strawberries and to determine the best concentration of IAA for the growth of strawberries. This research was conducted experimentally using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 concentrations of IAA treatment. The concentrations of IAA used were IAA 0, 2, 4, 6, and 8 ppm, each treatment was repeated 5 times so that there were 25 treatment units. The variable to be observed is the independent variable in the form of IAA concentration and the dependent variable in the form of strawberry plant growth. With parameters, namely the number of leaves, plant height, root length, number of roots, wet weight, and dry weight. The data obtained were analyzed fingeprints, with a further test of Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test with a test level 95%. The results showed that the addition of IAA significantly affected the number of leaves, root length, plant height, wet weight, and dry weight of strawberry plants with the best concentration of 8 ppm, while the addition of IAA had no significant effect on the number of roots.
