Penelitian ini berfokus tentang hubungan bilateral kerja sama industri pertahanan antara Indonesia dengan Turki, khususnya melibatkan perusahaan produsen Alat Utama Sistem Pertahanan (ALUTSISTA) yang bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kepentingan Indonesia dalam melakukan kerja sama industri pertahanan dengan Turki pada era kepemimpinan Presiden Joko Widodo tahun 2014-2019. Melalui paradigma Konstruktivisme dan perspektif Strukturalisme, penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan metode pengumpulan data studi pustaka, penelitian ini menghimpun informasi dari media cetak, laporan tahunan perusahaan, website resmi kementerian terkait. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pengembangan produksi Alat Utama Sistem Pertahanan (ALUTSISTA) dalam negeri lewat metode Transfer of Technology (ToT) dengan industri pertahanan Turki sehingga memicu kemandirian industri pertahanan Indonesia.

This study focuses on the bilateral relationship of defense industry cooperation between Indonesia and Turkey, in particular involving companies producing the Main Defense System Equipment (ALUTSISTA) which aims to explain Indonesia's interests in conducting defense industry cooperation with Turkey in the era of President Joko Widodo's leadership in 2014-2019. Through constructivism paradigm and structuralism perspective, this research uses qualitative research methods. By using the literature study data collection method, this research collects information from print media, company annual reports, official websites of related ministries. The results of this study indicate the development of domestic production of the Main Equipment of the Defense System (ALUTSISTA) through the Transfer of Technology (ToT) method with the Turkish defense industry, thereby triggering the independence of the Indonesian defense industry.
