PENGARUH PUPUK SILIKA DAN STRES KADAR AIR TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN BAWANG MERAH (Allium ascalonicum L.) PADA TANAH INCEPTISOL

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendapatkan dosis pupuk silika terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah pada tanah inceptisol, (2) mendapatkan stres kadar air yang masih memberikan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah terbaik pada tanah inceptisol, dan (3) mendapatkan kombinasi dosis pupuk silika dan stres kadar air terbaik terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil produksi tanaman bawang merah pada tanah inceptisol. Penelitian berupa percobaan polybag yang dilakukan pada Screen House Experimental Farm Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman dari bulan Juli hingga Desember 2020. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) yang diulang tiga kali. Perlakuan yang dicoba meliputi dua faktor yaitu dosis pupuk silika dengan taraf 0;10;20 dan 30 g/tanaman. Faktor kedua adalah stres kadar air tanah antara lain yaitu kadar air 100%, 80%, dan 60%. Variabel pengamatan meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah anakan, bobot tajuk segar, bobot tajuk kering, luas daun, kehijauan daun, jumlah umbi, bobot umbi segar, bobot umbi kering, dan diameter umbi. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan uji F dan diuji lanjut DMRT dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian dosis pupuk silika dapat meningkatkan jumlah anakan sebesar 3,28 rumpun pada dosis 30 g/tanaman, tetapi belum dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot tajuk segar, bobot tajuk kering, luas daun, kehijauan daun, jumlah umbi, bobot umbi segar, bobot umbi kering, dan diameter umbi. Stres kadar air sampai 82,03 % dapat meningkatkan luas daun sebesar 84,50 cm2/rumpun, tetapi peningkatan stress kadar air lebih rendah dari 82,03 % menurunkan luas daun. Stress kadar air 80% dan 60% menurunkan hasil bobot umbi segar dan diameter umbi masing-masing sebesar 20,16% dan 9,97%. Tidak ada interaksi antara dosis pupuk silika dan stres kadar air terhadap semua variabel pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman bawang merah.

The purpose of this research is (1)get the best dose of silica fertilizer on the growth and yield of shallots on inceptisol soil, (2) get stress water content that still provides the best growth and yield of shallots on inceptisol soils, and (3) get the combination of silica fertilizer dose and the best moisture content stress on the growth and yield of shallots on inceptisol soil.This research is in the form of a polybag experiment done on Screen House Experimental Farm, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University from July to December 2020. The design used was a completely randomized block design (RCBD), which is repeated three times. The treatments tested included two factors, namely the dosage of silica fertilizer with levels of 0; 10; 20 and 30 g / plant. The second factor is stress levels of soil water, including water content of 100%, 80%, and 60%. Observation variables included plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, the weight of fresh shoots, the weight of dry shoots, leaf area, greenness of leaves, number of bulbs, bulbs fresh weight, bulbs dry weight, and uber diameter. The research data were analyzed using the F test and DMRT was further tested with an error rate of 5%. The research results showed that the dose of silica fertilizer can increase the number of tillers by 3.28 clumps at a dose of 30 g/plant, but can't upgrade yet plant height, number of leaves, the weight of fresh shoots, the weight of dry shoots, leaf area, greenness of leaves, number of bulbs, bulbs fresh weight, bulbs dry weight, and bulb diameter. Stress water content up to 82.03% can increase leaf area by 84.50 cm2, but the increase in stress water content lower than 82.03% decreased leaf area. Stress water content 80% and 60% reduce the yield of bulbs fresh weight and bulb diameter was 20.16% and 9.97%, respectively. There was no interaction between the dosage of silica fertilizer and stress moisture content of all variables observed growth and yield of shallots.
