Latar Belakang: Pasien Diabetes Melitus (DM) dalam melakukan kunjungan rutin 
pemeriksaan dipoliklinik endokrin di masa pandemi Covid-19 mengalami penurunan. 
HBM mungkin salah satu teori persepsi yang mempengaruhi kedatangan kunjungan 
pemeriksaan pasien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor 
kepatuhan melakukan kunjungan pemeriksaan pada pasien DM di poliklinik Endokrin 
berdasarkan teori Health Belief Model.
Metodologi: Penelitian kuantitatif observasional dengan desain cross sectional. 
Responden adalah pasien DM yang datang ke poliklinik endokrin RSUD. Prof. Dr. 
Margono Soekarjo Purwokerto sebanyak 111 orang dengan menggunakan teknik 
consecutive sampling. Instrumen berupa kuesioner faktor Health Belief Model dan data 
sekunder rumah sakit. Data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik chi square dengan nilai α 
≤ 0,05.
Hasil Penelitian: Penelitian menunjukkan uji bivariat bahwa variabel pekerjaan 
(p=0,014) persepsi hambatan (p=0,039), persepsi manfaat(p=0,025), isyarat 
bertindak(p=0,024) dan efikasi diri (p=0,018) berhubungan dengan kepatuhan 
kunjungan pemeriksaan pasien DM. sedangkan tidak ada hubungan antara usia, jenis 
kelamin, pendidikan, pendapatan,kadar gula darah, lama menderita, persepsi 
kerentanan dan persepsi tingkat keparahan dengan kepatuhan kunjungan pemeriksaan 
pasien DM.
Kesimpulan: persepsi manfaat merupakan faktor yang paling dominan memengaruhi 
kepatuhan kunjungan pemeriksaan pasien DM masa pandemi Covid-19

Background : Patients with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) in do visit routine examination to
polyclinic endocrine in the Covid-19 pandemic has decline. HBM maybe one of theory
that influence to perception patient in doing routine examination visit. This research 
aimed at identifying the obedience factors of DM patients in doing examination visit to
Endocrine polyclinic based on Health Belief Model.
Method: This research is methodhology used is observational quantitative method with 
cross sectional design. The number of respondents is 111 people. They are DM patients 
that come to Polyclinic Endocrine RSUD. Prof. Dr. Margono Soekarno Purwokerto 
during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sampling is taken by using consecutive sampling
technique. The instrument of the research is questionnaire factor of Health Belief 
Model and secondary data of the hospital. The data is analyzed by using chi square
statistics analysis with the value of < 0.05.
Results: The research of bivariate test show that variable job (p=0.014) perceived 
barrier (p=0.039), perceived benefits ( p=0.025), cues to action (p=0.024) and selfefficacy (p=0.018) related with obedience of examination visit of DM patients. There is 
no relationship Among age, gender, education, income, level sugar blood, suffering
periode, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity and obedience of examination visit
of DM patients in Covid-19 pandemic era.
Conclusion : Perceived benefits is the most dominant factor influencing the obedience
of examination visit of DM patients in Covid-19 pandemic era
