The purposes of this research were to narrate and to interprete the teachers’ perceptions toward google meet in teaching reading class during covid 19 pandemic. This research used interpretative qualitative research. The data of this research were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation with reading teachers in English education study program. The researcher used qualitative technique to analyze the data. The result of the study showed that the teachers give a positive perception of learning. The teachers believe that Google Meet provides a positive influence for students to get the material by using steps in teaching reading during the pandemic of covid 19. Whereas, the researcher found that online learning has a bad network because of the internet connection problem
