Hubungan Kronotipe, Asupan Minuman Berkafein & Zat Gizi dengan Status Gizi Mahasiwa Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman

Latar Belakang : Ketidakseimbangan asupan dan pengeluaran energi memicu terjadinya permasalahan gizi. Studi menunjukkan kronotipe dan konsumsi kafein berperan dalam regulasi metabolik yang dapat mempengaruhi status gizi. Kronotipe malam mempengaruhi hormon nafsu makan yang mengakibatkan penambahan berat badan, IMT, dan lingkar pinggang seiring dengan peningkatan konsumsi kafein. Namun konsumsi kafein diketahui juga dapat mengurangi berat badan, massa lemak, dan lingkar pinggang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kronotipe, asupan minuman berkafein, energi dan zat gizi makro dengan status gizi mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu-Ilmu Kesehatan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Metodologi : Sampel penelitian cross sectional ini terdiri dari 75 mahasiswa. Data karakteristik umum dan kronotipe responden didapatkan dengan kuesioner karakteristik responden dan MEQ-SA melalui gform. Asupan minuman berkafein, energi, zat gizi makro dengan kuesioner SQ-FFQ melalui google meet. Data status gizi berdasarkan IMT. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji Pearson dan regresi linier berganda. Hasil Penelitian : Mayoritas responden memiliki status gizi normal (42,7%), berkronotipe pagi (57,3%), tingkat asupan minuman berkafein rendah (61,3%), energi baik (53,3%), karbohidrat kurang (49,3%), protein (52%) dan lemak (57,3%) berlebih. Hasil uji Pearson menunjukan terdapat hubungan signifikan antara asupan minuman berkafein dan zat gizi dengan status gizi (p<0,05). Namun tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara kronotipe dan status gizi (p>0,05). Hasil uji regresi linier berganda menunjukkan asupan minuman berkafein merupakan faktor paling dominan (B = 0,010). Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan asupan minuman berkafein, energi, protein, lemak, karbohidrat dengan status gizi. Asupan minuman berkafein merupakan faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi status gizi.

Background: Energy intake and expenditure imbalance triggers nutritional problems. Studies showed that chronotype and caffeine consumption play a role in metabolic regulation that can affect nutritional status. Evening chronotype affects appetite hormones which results in an increase in body weight, BMI, and waist circumference along with increased caffeine consumption. However, caffeine consumption is also known to reduce body weight, fat mass, and waist circumference. This study aims to determine the relationship between chronotype, intake of caffeinated beverages and nutrients with the nutritional status of students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Jenderal Soedirman University. Methodology: Sample of this cross sectional study consisted of 75 students. General characteristics and chronotypes of respondents were obtained using the characteristic questionnaires and MEQ-SA through Gform. Intake of caffeinated beverages and nutrients using the SQ-FFQ via Google Meet. Nutritional status data based on BMI. Statistical analysis using Pearson correlation test and multiple linear regression. Results: The majority of respondents had normal nutritional status (42.7%), morning chronotype (57.3%), low intake of caffeinated beverages (61.3%), good energy (53.3%), low carbohydrate (49.3%), excess protein (52%) and fat (57.3%). The results of the Pearson test showed that there was a significant relationship between intake of caffeinated beverages and nutrients with nutritional status (p<0.05). However, there was no significant relationship between chronotype and nutritional status (p>0.05). The results of multiple linear regression showed that the intake of caffeinated beverages was the most dominant factor (B = 0.010). Conclusion: There is a relationship between intake of caffeinated beverages, energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates with nutritional status. Intake of caffeinated beverages is the dominant factor affecting nutritional status.
