Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi memberikan dampak yang besar terutama bagi eksistensi media komunikasi masa seperti Radio yang kian menurun peminatnya akibat terjadinya konvergensi media yang merubah tatanan radio sebagai media komunikasi masa yang pernah eksis. Program Satu Jam Bersama OPD dibuat oleh Radio Gema Soedirman sebagai media sosialisasi Pemerintah Daerah Purbalingga diharapkan mampu untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan eksistensi media radio saat ini. 
Penelitian ini mengambil sebuah rumusan masalah penelitian yaitu bagaimana Strategi Program Radio “Satu Jam Bersama OPD” sebagai Media Sosialisasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Purbalingga, dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui strategi yang digunakan Radio Gema Soedirman pada Program Satu Jam Bersama OPD sebagai media sosialisasi Pemerintah Kabupaten Purbalingga. Metode yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik pemilihan informan secara purposive sampling. Dalam mengumpulkan data, penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.
Hasil Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Radio Gema Soedirman melakukan kerjasama dengan OPD dan lintas OPD yang ada sebagai narasumber dari Program Satu Jam Bersama OPD sekaligus melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat dengan perencanaan yang memperhatikan faktor capital, types of content dan types of audiens yang ada dalam tugas dan fungsinya Radio Gema Soedirman sebagai Lembaga Penyaran Publik Lokal.

Advances in information and communication technology have had a major impact, especially for the existence of mass communication media such as radio, which is decreasing in demand due to media convergence which has changed the order of radio as a mass communication medium that has ever existed. The “Satu Jam Bersama OPD” program was created by Radio Gema Soedirman as a medium of socialization for the Purbalingga Regional Government which is expected to be able to improve the quality and existence of the current radio media.
This study took a research problem formulation, namely how the " Satu Jam Bersama OPD" Radio Program Strategy as a Media for Socialization of the Purbalingga Regency Government, with the aim of research to determine the strategy used by Radio Gema Sudirman in the One Hour Joint OPD Program as a medium of socialization of the Purbalingga Regency Government. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative and uses a purposive sampling technique to select informants. In collecting data, this study uses interviews, observation and documentation.
The results of this study found that Radio Gema Sudirman collaborated with OPD and other existing OPDs as resource persons from the “Satu Jam Bersama OPD” Program while at the same time conducting socialization to the community with a plan that took into account the factors of capital, types of content and types of audience in their duties and functions.
