Penelitian yang berjudul “Deconstruction of Greek Mythology’s Sirens in Instantmiso’s Webtoon Siren’s Lament” memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui narasi Sirens dari Mitologi Yunani yang didekonstruksi di webtoon. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Dekonstruksi Jacque Derrida sebagai teori utama.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dimana data yang terkumpul dianalisis dan dideskripsikan untuk memahami dekonstruksi dari narasi Siren yang terdapat di dalam webtoon. Teori Dekonstruksi Derrida digunakan sebagai konsep dasar dan kerangka berpikir. Teori Dekonstruksi mempertanyakan perbedaan konseptual fundamental, atau “oposisi”, dalam filsafat Barat melalui pemeriksaan bahasa dan penilaian yang baik terhadap teks sastra filosofis. Peneliti juga menggunakan literature Siren di Mitologi Yunani dan teori Webtoon untuk menganalisa gaya bahasa Instantmiso. Hasil analisis menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat empat oposisi biner di webtoon: Evil – Good, Settled – Nomadic, Assailant – Victim, dan Unavoidable Song – Avoidable Song. Tatanan hierarkis dari keempat opisisi biner telah terbukti dibalik dan digulingkan oleh Instantmiso melalui gaya bahasa dan pemilihan kata. Ketidakstabilan hierarki mengakibatkan makna teks menjadi tidak stabil. Keseluruhan hasil penelitian tersebut memenuhi konsep teori dekonstruksi Derrida bahwa sebuah teks memiliki ketidakstabilan, dan makna tiap istilah dalam tatanan saling bergantung satu sama lain.

This research entitled “Deconstruction of Greek Mythology’s Sirens in Instantmiso’s Webtoon Siren’s Lament” aims to figure out the deconstructed narrative of the Greek Mythology’s Sirens in the webtoon. The research uses Jacque Derrida’s Deconstruction theory as the main theory. 
	
This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with which the collected data were analyzed and described to understand the Sirens’ deconstructed narratives found in the webtoon. Derrida’s Deconstruction theory is used as the basic concepts and frameworks of thinking. Deconstruction theory questions the fundamental conceptual distinctions, or “oppositions”, in Western philosophy through a close exam of the language and good judgment of philosophical literary text. The researcher also used Sirens in Greek Mythology literature and Webtoon theory to analyze Instantmiso’s style of language. The results of the analysis conclude that there are four binary oppositions found in the webtoon: Evil – Good, Settled – Nomadic, Assailant – Victim, Unavoidable Song – Avoidable Song. The hierarchical orders of the four binary oppositions have shown to be reversed and overturned in the story through Instantmiso’s style of language and word choices. The unstable hierarchy has resulted in the unstable meaning of the text. All of those results fulfill the concepts of Derrida’s deconstruction theory that a text has instability, and each term in the hierarchical order is dependent on each other for its meaning.
