Penelitian ini membahas tentang representasi nilai-nilai bushido dalam anime shokugeki no souma melalui analisis semiotika John Fiske. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Metode analisis menggunakan kode-kode televisi jhon fiske. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik simak catat. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah anime shokugeki no souma pada season pertama karya Yuto Tsukuda. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Pada level realitas melalui kode penampilan dan kostum; kode lingkungan; dan kode perilaku, tokoh-tokoh di anime shokugeki no souma di tampilkan sebagai manusia yang memiliki rasa keadilan yang tinggi. Pada level representasi, anime Shokugeki No Souma menggunakan berbagai kode teknis seperti teknik pengambilan gambar; tata cahaya; editing; dan musik latar belakang. Pada kode representasi konvensional seperti naratif; konflik; karakter; aksi; dan dialog. Anime shokugeki no souma dapat merepresentasikan seluruh nilai-nilai bushido yaitu gi (integritas), yu (keberanian), jin (kemurahan hati), rei (menghormati), makoto/shin (kejujuran dan tulus-ikhlas), meiyo (nama baik), dan chugo (kesetiaan) melalui tindakan-tindakan para tokohnya.

This study discusses the representation of bushido values in the anime shokugeki no souma through John Fiske's semiotic analysis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The method of analysis uses the television codes of John Fiske. The data collection technique used the note-taking technique. The object of this research is the anime shokugeki no souma in the first season by Yuto Tsukuda. The results of the analysis show that at the level of reality through the code of appearance and costumes; environment code; and code of conduct, the characters in the anime shokugeki no souma are shown as humans who have a high sense of justice. At the level of representation, the anime Shokugeki No Souma uses various technical codes such as shooting techniques; lighting; edit; and background music. In conventional code representations such as narrative; conflict; character; action; and dialogue. Anime Shokugeki no Souma can represent all Bushido values, namely gi (integrity), yu (courage), jin (generosity), rei (respect), makoto/shin (honesty and sincerity), meiyo (good name), and chugo (loyalty) through the actions of the characters.
