Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh job characteristic dan role stressor terhadap kinerja melalui cyberloafing sebagai variabel mediasi serta mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja pegawai di dinas Kabupaten Purbalingga. Responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai dinas di Kabupaten Purbalingga dengan jabatan fungsional. Penelitian ini menggunakan 74 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah Cluster Random Sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menggunakan SPSS (Statistical Productand Service Solution) menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Job characteristic memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kinerja (2) Role Stressor tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja (3) Job Characteristic dan kinerja berpenaruh negatif terhadap cyberloafing (4) Role stressor berpengaruh positif terhadap cyberloafing (5) Cyberloafing memediasi hubungan job characteristic dan role stressor terhadap kinerja. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberi waktu penyelesaian tugas yang cukup supaya dapat menyelesaikan tugas sesuai cara yang dikehendaki, membuat timeline penyelesaian tugas supaya lebih terorganisir dan tidak harus selalu bekerja dengan cepat, melaksanakan evaluasi secara internal untuk memberikan arahan kepada pegawai dan mengklasifikasikan target yang akan dicapai supaya dalam pencapaiannya lebih terarah.

This study aims to determine the effect of job characteristics and role stressors on performance through cyberloafing as a mediating variable and to determine the factors that influence the performance of employees at the Purbalingga district office. Respondents who participated in this study were official employees in Purbalingga Regency with functional positions. This study uses 74 respondents with the sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. Based on the results of research and data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) shows that: (1) Job characteristics have a positive effect on performance (2) Role Stressors have no effect on performance (3) Job Characteristics and performance have a negative impact on cyberloafing (4) Role stressors have a positive effect on cyberloafing (5) Cyberloafing mediates the relationship between job characteristics and role stressors on performance. The implications of this research are to provide sufficient time for completing tasks so that they can complete tasks in the desired way, create a timeline for completing tasks so that they are more organized and do not always have to work quickly, carry out internal evaluations to provide direction to employees and classify targets to be achieved. so that the achievement is more focused.
