PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TALKING STICK TERHADAP AKTIVITAS BELAJAR DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS XI IPA MAN 2 BANYUMAS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui yaitu: (1) mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar antara kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dan kelompok siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan model konvensional. (2) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. (3) mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode peelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalent group desain. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampel. Adapun sampel peelitian adalah kelas XI IPA 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 5 sebagai kelas control. Data hasil belajar diperoleh melalui pre-test dan post-test, dan data aktivitas belajar melalui lembar kuesioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistic uji t (independent t-test). Hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) Terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar secara signifikan antara siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dengan siswa yang dibelajarkan melalui model konvensional. (2) Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. (3) Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar. Kata Kunci: Talking Stick, Aktivitas Belajar, Hasil Belajar.

This research aims to know, namely: (1) to find out the differences in learning outcomes between groups of students who were taught by the talking stick type of cooperative learning model and groups of students who were taught by the conventional model. (2) determine the effect of the talking stick type cooperative learning model on student learning activities. (3) determine the effect of the talking stick type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes. This is an experimental research a with non-equivalent group desain. The sample was chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research was student from class XI IPA 1 as exsperimental class and XI IPA 5 as control class. The data for learning outcomes were obtained by using pre-test and post-test, and learning activity data through questionnaire sheets. The data were analyzed by using t-test (independent t-test). The results showed that: (1) There is a significant difference in learning outcomes between students who are taught through the talking stick type of cooperative learning model and students who are taught through the conventional model. (2) The talking stick cooperative learning model has no significant effect on learning outcomes. (3) The talking stick type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes.
