KAJIAN DOSIS DAN FREKUENSI PEMBERIAN PUPUK YARAMILA COMPLEX TERHADAP HASIL TANAMAN MELON (Cucumis melo L.)

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk YaraMila Complex dalam meningkatkan hasil buah melon, serta mengetahui kombinasi dosis dan frekuensi pemberian pupuk YaraMila Complex yang tepat untuk menghasilkan buah melon yang optimal secara kualitas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Oktober sampai November 2020 di Desa Kotesan, Kecamatan Prambanan, Kabupaten Klaten. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) dengan 2 faktorial perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Faktor pertama yaitu dosis pupuk YaraMila Complex (P) yaitu, P0 = control, P1 = 5 gram, P2 = 15 gram, P3 = 30 gram. Faktor kedua yaitu frekuensi pemberian pupuk YaraMila Complex (T) yaitu, T1 = 5 kali aplikasi, T2 = 3 kali aplikasi, T3 = 2 kali aplikasi. Variabel yang diamati yaitu jumlah bunga betina, berat buah, tebal daging buah, dan kadar gula buah. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis sidik ragam (ANOVA) pada taraf 5%, apabila terdapat keragaman dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) taraf 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberian pupuk YaraMila Complex mampu meningkatkan hasil buah melon. Frekuensi pemberian pupuk 5 hari sekali (5 kali aplikasi) dapat meningkatkan berat buah, tebal daging dan kadar gula. Dosis pupuk 5 gram/tanaman memberikan pengaruh nyata pada berat buah dan tebal daging, dosis pupuk 30 gram/tanaman memberikan pengaruh nyata pada kadar gula. Kombinasi perlakuan frekuensi pupuk 5 hari sekali (5 kali aplikasi) dan 10 hari sekali (3 kali aplikasi) dengan dosis pupuk 15 gram/tanaman mampu meningkatkan kadar gula buah melon.

This study aims to determine the effect of YaraMila Complex fertilizer application in increasing melon yields, and to determine the right combination of dose and frequency of YaraMila Complex fertilizer application to produce optimal melon fruit quality. This research was conducted from October to November 2020 in Kotesan Village, Prambanan District, Klaten Regency. The experimental design used was Completely Randomized Block Design (RAKL) with 2 factorial treatments and 3 replications. The first factor is the dose of YaraMila Complex fertilizer (P), namely, P0 = control, P1 = 5 grams, P2 = 15 grams, P3 = 30 grams. The second factor is the frequency of application of YaraMila Complex fertilizer (T), namely, T1 = 5 applications, T2 = 3 applications, T3 = 2 applications. The variables observed were the number of female flowers, fruit weight, flesh thickness, and fruit sugar content. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) at the level of 5%, if there is diversity, then continued with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the application of YaraMila Complex fertilizer was able to increase the yield of melons. The frequency of fertilizer application every 5 days (5 times of application) can increase fruit weight, flesh thickness and sugar content. The fertilizer dose of 5 grams/plant had a significant effect on fruit weight and flesh thickness, a fertilizer dose of 30 grams/plant had a significant effect on sugar content. The combination of fertilizer frequency treatment every 5 days (5 times application) and once in 10 days (3 times application) with a fertilizer dose of 15 grams/plant was able to increase the sugar content of melons.
