Penelitian berjudul “Kadar Bahan Kering dan Serat Kasar Rumput Raja (Pennisetum purpureophoides) yang Diberi Kompos Unggul Kotoran Sapi Potong Diperkaya Azolla microphylla” bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk kompos diperkaya Azolla microphylla serta dosis pemberian pupuk yang paling optimal terhadap kadar bahan kering dan kadar serat kasar rumput raja (Pennisetum purpureophoides) defoliasi empat. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu rumput raja defoliasi keempat, pupuk kompos dari kotoran sapi potong sebanyak 162 kg, Azolla microphylla sebanyak 33 kg, dan seperangkat alat proximat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) pola faktorial dengan faktor pertama dosis pupuk kompos dengan tiga dosis yakni 10, 20, 30 ton/ha/defoliasi dan faktor kedua dosis pengkayaan Azolla microphylla dengan tiga dosis yakni 10, 20, 30 % dari dosis kompos. Terdapat 9 perlakuan, masing-masing perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali. Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa dosis pupuk kompos kotoran sapi dan dosis pemberian Azolla microphylla berpengaruh sangat nyata (p>0,01) terhadap kadar bahan kering rumput raja. Dosis pupuk kompos dan dosis pemberian Azolla microphylla berpengaruh sangat nyata (p>0,01) terhadap kadar serat kasar rumput raja. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan tidak terdapat interaksi antara dosis pupuk kompos dengan dosis Azolla microphylla terhadap kadar bahan kering maupun kadar serat kasar rumput raja (p<0,05).

The study entitled "Levels of dry matter and crude fiber of king grass (Pennisetum purpureophoides) with superior compost of beef cattle manure enriched with Azolla microphylla" aims to find out the effect of giving Azolla microphylla enriched compost and the optimal dosage of fertilizer on dry matter content and crude fiber content in the fourth defoliation king grass (Pennisetum purpureophoides). The research material used the fourth defoliation king gras, compost from beef cattle dung as much as 162 kg, Azolla microphylla as much as 33 kg and a set of proximate test kits. The research method used a completely randomized design (CRD) factorial pattern with the first factor was the dose of compost with three doses, namely 10, 20, 30 tonnes / ha / defoliation and the second factor was the dose of Azolla microphylla enrichment with three doses, namely 10, 20, 30% of the compost dose. There were 9 treatments, each treatment was repeated three times. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the dosage of cow dung compost and the dose of Azolla microphylla administration had a very significant effect (p> 0.01) on the dry matter content of king grass. The dose of compost and the dose of Azolla microphylla had a very significant effect (p> 0.01) on the crude fiber content of king grass. The regression test results showed that there was no interaction between the dosage of compost and the dose of Azolla microphylla on the dry matter content and crude fiber content of king grass (p <0.05).
