Struktur Komunitas Makroalga di Perairan Pantai Karang Pandan Nusakambangan Cilacap Jawa Tengah

Struktur komunitas adalah gambaran keberadaan komunitas makroalga di perairan mencakup karakteristiknya antara lain komposisi, dominansi dan indeks keanekaragaman. Pantai Karang Pandan memiliki tipe substrat perairan berupa pasir dan pecahan karang yang banyak ditumbuhi makroalga. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui struktur komunitas makroalga berdasarkan keanekaragaman, dominansi, dan kemerataan serta kelimpahan jenis makroalga di perairan Pantai Karang Pandan Nusakambangan. Hasil penelitian dihitung dengan rumus indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener (H’), indeks kemerataan (E), dan indeks dominansi Simpson (D). Hubungan antara kelimpahan makroalga dengan karakteristik fisika-kimia perairan dilakukan analisis multivariat dengan BIOENV menggunakan Primer 7. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 13 spesies makroalga yang terdiri dari 5 spesies divisi Chlorophyta, 7 spesies divisi Rhodophyta, 1 spesies divisi Phaeophyta. Keanekaragaman makroalga tergolong sedang dengan nilai indeks keanekaragaman sebesar 1,00-1,55. Indeks dominansi berkisar antara 0,47-0,69 berarti tidak terdapat jenis yang mendominasi jenis lainnya. Indeks kemerataan berkisar antara 0,51-0,70 artinya sebaran individu antar jenis tidak merata. Hasil dari pengukuran faktor fisika-kimawi perairan menunjukkan kondisi perairan Pantai Karang Pandan cukup baik untuk pertumbuhan makroalga.

Community structure is a description of the presence of macroalgae communities in waters including their characteristics, including composition, dominance and diversity index. Karang Pandan Beach has a type of aquatic substrate in the form of sand and coral fragments which are overgrown with macroalgae. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the macroalgae community based on diversity, dominance, and evenness and abundance of macroalgae species in the waters of Karang Pandan Beach, Nusakambangan. The results of the study were calculated using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index formula (H'), evenness index (E), and Simpson dominance index (D). The relationship between macroalgae abundance and water physico-chemical characteristics was carried out by multivariate analysis using BIOENV using Primer 7. The results obtained 13 macroalgae species consisting of 5 species of Chlorophyta division, 7 species of Rhodophyta division, 1 species of Phaeophyta division. Macroalgae diversity was classified as moderate with a diversity index value of 1.00-1.55. The dominance index ranged from 0.47-0.69 meaning that there was no species that dominated the other types. The evenness index ranged from 0.51 to 0.70, meaning that the distribution of individuals between species was uneven. The results of the measurement of the physico-chemical factors of the waters showed that the condition of the waters of Karang Pandan Beach was quite good for macroalgae growth.
