EFISIENSI PUPUK NITROGEN DENGAN PEMANFAATAN KOMPOS LIMBAH BAGLOG JAMUR TIRAM TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL SORGUM (Sorghum bicolor L. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui pengaruh kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram (Pleurotus ostreatus) terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum (Sorghum bicolor) di ultisol, (2) mengetahui pengaruh pupuk nitrogen terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum di ultisol dan (3) mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi pupuk nitrogen dengan kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman sorgum. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai November 2020 di screenhouseBalai Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura (BBTPH) Kebun Benih Padi dan Palawija desa Bojongsari, Laboratorium Ilmu Tanah dan Laboratorium Agroekologi Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah dosis pupuk N, yaitu N0= 0% rekomendasi, N1= 25% rekomendasi, N2= 50% rekomendasi, N3= 75% rekomendasi dan N4= 100% rekomendasi. Pupuk N rekomendasi untuk tanaman sorgum adalah 348 kg urea/ha. Faktor kedua adalah dosis kompos baglog jamur, yaitu B1= 10 t/ha, B2= 20 t/ha, B3= 30 t/ha. Masing-masing faktor dikombinasikan dan didapat 15 kombinasi perlakuan. Perlakuan diulang sebanyak 3 kali. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, diameter, luas daun, klorofil daun, bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk, bobot 100 biji, bobot biji per tanaman, jumlah biji, N jaringan tanaman, efisiensi serapan nitrogen dan efisiensi agronomi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian dosis kompos limbah baglog jamur tiram 30 t/ha mampu meningkatkan jumlah daun sebesar, bobot biji per tanaman dan jumlah biji per tanaman. Pemberian dosis pupuk nitrogen 25% rekomendasi mampu meningkatkan jumlah daun, diameter batang, klorofil daun, bobot kering akar, bobot kering tajuk dan bobot biji per tanaman. Tidak terjadi interaksi antara pupuk nitrogen dan kompos limbah baglog jamur, kecuali bobot biji per tanaman dan efisiensi serapan nitrogen.

This research aims to (1) determine the effect of spent mushroom waste compost from oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) on the growth and yield of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) in ultisols, (2) to determine the effect of nitrogen fertilizer on the growth and yield of sorghum on ultisols, and (3) to determine the effect of spent mushroom waste compost from oyster mushroom and does of N to growth and yield of sorghum. This study was carried from June until November 2020 at the screenhouse of Research Station for Crops and Horticulture (BBTPH) Bojongsari, Kembaran, Banyumas. Soil Science Laboratory and Agroecology Laboratory of the Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. The experiments were set with a randomized design with 2 factors. The first factor was the dose of N fertilizer, N0 = without fertilizer, N1 = 25% of recommended dosage, N2 = 50% of recommended dosage, N3 = 75% of recommended dosage and N4 = 100% of recommended dosage. Recommended nitrogen fertilizer for sorghum is 348 kg urea/ha. The second factor is the dose of spent mushroom compost, B1 = 10 toh/ha, B2 = 20 t/ha, B3 = 30 t/ha. Each factor was combined with a total of 15 combinations. The treatment was repeated 3 times. The variables observed were plant height, total number of leaf, diameter, leaf area, leaf chlorophyll, root dry weight, shoot dry weight, 100 seeds weight, seed weight, total number of seed, plant tissue nitrogen, nitrogen absorption efficiency and agronomic efficiency. The results showed that the application of compost 30 t/ha increased total number of leaf, weight of seed and total number of seed. Aplication of N fertilizer of 25% recommended dosage increased total number of leaf, stem circumference, leaf chlorophyl, root dry weight, canopy dry weight, weight of seed and seeds total. There was no interaction berween aplication of nitrogen fertilizer and spent mushroom waste compost, except on weight of seed and nitrogen absorption efficiency.
