Persetujuan tindakan medik yaitu persetujuan yang diberikan kepada pasien atau keluarga pasien setelah mendapatkan informasi secara lengkap mengenai tindakan medik yang akan dilakukan beserta resikonya. Menurut Permenkes Nomor 290 Tahun 2008 yaitu semua tindakan kedokteran harus mendapat persetujuan. Tuntutan dan gugatan hukum terhadap dokter dan rumah sakit di Indonesia saat ini sering terjadi, salah satunya terkait rekam medik. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, penulis merumuskan permasalahan yaitu bagaimanakah efektivitas pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran berdasarkan Permenkes No. 290 Tahun 2008 di RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto dan apakah faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran berdasarkan Permenkes No. 290 Tahun 2008 di RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis mengenai efektivitas pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran berdasarkan Permenkes No. 290 Tahun 2008 di RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto dan faktor yang mempengaruhi efektivitas pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran berdasarkan Permenkes No. 290 Tahun 2008 di RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto.	
	Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis yuridis empiris, yaitu mengkaji ketentuan hukum yang berasal dari data sekunder berupa bahan hukum primer, sekunder, dan tersier dan dari data primer yang diperoleh dari responden dan narasumber dengan melakukan penelitian di lapangan berupa pengamatan dan wawancara kemudian dianalisis secara kualitatif dan hasil analisis dijelaskan dengan metode deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian yaitu pada Rumah Sakit Gigi dan Mulut Purwokerto.
	Berdasarkan hasil analisis, diperoleh simpulan bahwa pelaksanaan persetujuan kedokteran di RSGM Unsoed belum sepenuhnya efektif. Faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran berdasarkan Permenkes No. 290 Tahun 2008 di RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto yaitu faktor substansi hukum, struktur hukum dan budaya hukum masyarakat RSGM Unsoed. Faktor substansi hukum adalah peraturan direktur yang masih belum sepenuhnya mengacu pada Permenkes 290 tahun 2008. Struktur hukum mempunyai kendala pada penegakan hukum terkait keterbatasan jumlah sumber daya manusia yang mengakibatkan tidak adanya pengawasan terhadap pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran dan dokter gigi yang tidak profesionalisme. Faktor budaya hukum mempunyai kendala berupa kesadaran hukum pasien yang rendah, tingkat pengetahuan pasien yang kurang, serta sikap acuh pada pasien. Faktor lain yang mempengaruhi adalah faktor sarana prasarana. Saran bagi RSGM Unsoed antara lain perlu dibuat kebijakan terkait pengawasan dan penegakan pelaksanaan persetujuan tindakan kedokteran dan harus disosialisasikan, perlu dibuat kebijakan di unit integrasi, penambahan dokter gigi dan menyediakan leaflet untuk dibawa pulang terkait tindakan medik yang akan dilakukan dokter atau dokter gigi.

Approval of medical action, namely the consent given to the patient or the patient's family after receiving complete information about the medical action to be carried out and its risks. According to Permenkes Number 290 of 2008, all medical actions must be approved. Lawsuits and lawsuits against doctors and hospitals in Indonesia today often occur, one of which is related to medical records. Based on this background, the authors formulated the problem, namely how the effectiveness of the implementation of the approval of medical action based on Permenkes No. 290 of 2008 at RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto and what are the factors that influence the effectiveness of the implementation of the medical treatment approval based on Permenkes No. 290 Year 2008 at RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of approval for medical action based on Permenkes No. 290 of 2008 at RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto and the factors that influence the effectiveness of the implementation of the approval of medical treatment based on Permenkes No. 290 Year 2008 at RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto.
	This research is a juridical empirical research, which examines legal provisions derived from secondary data in the form of primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials and from primary data obtained from respondents and resource persons by conducting field research in the form of observations and interviews then analyzed qualitatively and the results of the analysis were explained by descriptive methods. The research location is at the Dental and Oral Hospital in Purwokerto.
	Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the implementation of medical approval at RSGM Unsoed was not fully effective. Factors affecting the implementation of approval for medical action based on Permenkes No. 290 of 2008 at RSGM Unsoed Purwokerto, namely the legal substance, legal structure and legal culture of the community at RSGM Unsoed. The legal substance factor is the director's regulation which still does not fully refer to Permenkes 290 of 2008. The legal structure has constraints on law enforcement related to the limited number of human resources which results in the absence of supervision of the implementation of unprofessional medical and dentist approval. Legal culture factors have constraints in the form of low patient legal awareness, lack of patient knowledge, and indifference to patients. Another factor that affects is the infrastructure factor. Suggestions for RSGM Unsoed, among others, need to make policies related to the supervision and enforcement of the implementation of approval of medical action and must be socialized, it is necessary to make policies in the integration unit, add dentists and provide leaflets to take home related to medical actions that will be carried out by doctors or dentists
