Latar belakang: Kabupaten Gunung Mas salah satu wilayah endemik filariasis dengan Mf rate 3,4 % dan
menjadi tempat pencanangan program eliminasi filariasis oleh Menteri Kesehatan. Kemudian dilaksanakan
pengobatan massal setahun sekali selama 5 tahun. Pengobatan massal bertujuan untuk menurunkan angka
prevalensi Mikrofilaria rate <1%. Pemeriksaan mikroskopis merupakan teknik konvensional dan WHO
menganjurkan penggunaan metode serodiagnosis.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil uji diagnostik filariasis menggunakan Rapid Diagnostik
Test (RDT) Brugia malayi terhadap pemeriksaan mikroskopis di Desa Buntoi, Kabupaten Gunung Mas Provinsi
Kalimantan Tengah.
Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dengan subyek
penelitian seluruh penduduk Desa Buntoi yang masuk kedalam kriteria inklusi berjumlah 161 sampel. Variabel
dalam penelitian ini adalah RDT B. malayi, pemeriksaan mikroskopis SDJ, sensitivitas, spesifisitas. Metode
yang digunakan yaitu RDT Brugia dan pewarnaan Giemsa, dan kuesioner dengan responden untuk mengetahui
gambaran pengetahuan filariasis, MDA, dan pengetahuan pencegahan filariasis. Pemeriksaan RDT dilakukan di
Desa Buntoi dan pemeriksaan mikroskopis dilakukan di laboratorium RSUD Kuala Kurun. Analisis data
menggunakan uji SPSS, mikrofilaria rate, sensitivitas dan spesifitas. Data disajikan dalam bentuk proporsi dan di
tampilkan dalam bentuk tabel.
Hasil: Hasil uji diagnostik RDT Brugia malayi terhadap pemeriksaan mikroskopis SDJ adalah negatif dan tidak
ditemukan mikrofilaria. Uji diagnostik filariasis RDT Brugia malayi terhadap pemeriksaan mikroskopis SDJ
didapatkan sensitivitas 0% dan spesifitas 100%. Kesimpulan: Hasil Uji Diagnostik RDT Brugia malayi
terhadap pemeriksaan mikroskopis di Desa Buntoi Kabupaten Gunung Mas Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah 2020
adalah negatif dan tidak ditemukan mikrofilaria.

Background of the Study: Regency of Gunung Mas is one of filariasis endemic region with Mf rate 3.4 % dan
being a declaration program of filariasis elimination by Health Minister, then held treatment mass once a year
for 5 years. Decreasing the number of Microfilaria rate prevalence <1% is the purpose of treatment mass.
Microscopic examination is a conventional technique and WHO recommends using the serodiagnosis method.
The Purpose of the Study: This study was conducted to identify the diagnostic test result of filariasis using
Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT) of Brugia malayi toward microscopic examination in Buntoi Village, Gunung Mas
Regency, Central Kalimantan Province.Method of the Study: This study was descriptive research using a cross-sectional approach whose subject of the
study was all of the residents of Buntoi Village who was suitable for inclusion criteria with total 161 samples.
The variables of this study were RDT of B. malayi, SDJ microscopic examination, sensitivity, specificity,. RDT of
Brugia, Giemsa stain, and questionnaire with respondents who had well informed of filariasis, MDA, and
filariasis prevention were used in this study. RDT examination was held in Buntoi Village and microscopic
examination was conducted in the laboratory of Kuala Kurun Hospital. Data analysis used SPSS test,
microfilaria rate, sensitivity, and specificity. Data was presented in proportion form and displayed in table form.
The Result of the Study: The result of the diagnostic test of RDT of Brugia Malayi toward SDJ microscopic
examination was negative and microfilaria had not been detected. Diagnostic filariasis test of RDT of Brugia
Malayi toward SDJ microscopic examination was 0% sensitivity and 100% specificityConclusion of the Study:
The diagnostic test result of RDT of Brugia malayi toward microscopic examination in Buntoi Village, Gunung
Mas Regency, Kalimantan Tengah Province 2020 was negative and microfilaria had not been detected.
