PENGARUH VARIASI JARAK TANAM DAN DOSIS PUPUK KASCING TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN PARIA (Momordica charantia L.) VARIETAS DULCO F1

Tanaman paria di Indonesia banyak dimanfaatkan untuk mengobati beberapa penyakit seperti diabetes, luka, dan penyakit infeksi lainnya. Paria juga dimanfaatkan sebagai antivirus untuk mengobati penyakit hepatitis, demam, dan campak. Teknik budidaya yang baik perlu dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil dan produksi dari tanaman paria. Usaha yang perlu dilakukan yaitu pengaturan jarak tanam dan pemberian pupuk kascing. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendapatkan jarak tanam, dosis pupuk kascing, dan interaksi yang paling baik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman paria. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 18 Januari sampai 23 Mei 2020 di lahan percobaan dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, dengan menggunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi (RPT) dengan 2 faktor, yaitu jarak tanam (J) dan dosis pupuk kascing (K). J1 : (40X40) cm; J2 : (50X50) cm; J3 : (60X60) cm; K0 : 0 ton/ha; K1 : 3,75 ton/ha; K2 : 7,5 ton/ha. Terdapat 12 variabel pengamatan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu suhu, kelembaban, pH tanah, intensitas cahaya matahari, panjang tanaman, jumlah daun, indeks luas daun, kandungan klorofil, volume akar, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang buah, diameter buah, bobot buah, bobot buah per tanaman, serta bobot buah per plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jarak tanam (60X60) cm dapat meningkatkan panjang tanaman umur 7 HST, jumlah daun umur 7 HST, indeks luas daun, kandungan klorofil, umur panen, bobot per buah, bobot buah per tanaman, serta bobot buah per plot, dosis pupuk kascing 7,5 ton/ha dapat meningkatkan panjang tanaman 14 HST, kandungan klorofil, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang buah, volume akar, bobot per buah, bobot buah per tanaman, serta bobot buah per plot, perlakuan interaksi jarak tanam (60X60) cm dan dosis pupuk kascing (7,5 ton/ha) memberikan hasil paling baik karena dapat meningkatkan jumlah daun umur 7 HST, kandungan klorofil, umur panen,bobot per buah, bobot buah per tanaman, serta bobot buah per plot.

Bitter gourd plants in Indonesia are widely used to treat some diseases such as diabetes, wounds, and other infectious diseases. Pariah is also used as an antiviral to treat hepatitis, fever, and measles. Good cultivation techniques need to be done to increase the yield and production of bitter gourd plants. The efforts that need to be done are the arrangement of planting distance and the provision of kascing fertilizer. Research aims to obtain planting distance, dosage of kascing fertilizer, and the best interaction for the growth and yield of pariah plants. The research was conducted from January 18 to May 23, 2020 in experimental land and Agronomy and Horticultural Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, General Sudirman University, using Divided Plot Design (RPT) with 2 factors, namely planting distance (J) and dose of kascing fertilizer (K). J1 : (40X40) cm; J2 : (50X50) cm; J3 : (60X60) cm; K0 : 0 ton/ha; K1 : 3.75 ton/ha; K2 : 7.5 tons/ha. There were 12 observation variables in this study, namely temperature, humidity, soil pH, intensity of sunlight, plant length, number of leaves, leaf area index, chlorophyll content, root volume, flowering age, harvest age, fruit length, fruit diameter, fruit weight, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per plot. The results showed planting distance (60X60) cm can increase the length of plants age 7 HST, the number of leaves age 7 HST, index of leaf area, chlorophyll content, harvest age, weight per fruit, weight of fruit per plant, as well as fruit weight per plot, dose of kascing fertilizer 7.5 tons / ha can increase plant length 14 HST, chlorophyll content, flowering age, harvest life, fruit length, root volume, weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, as well as fruit weight per plot, planting distance interaction treatment (60X60) cm and dose of kascing fertilizer (7.5 tons / ha) provide the best results because it can increase the number of leaves age 7 HST, chlorophyll content, harvest age, weight per fruit, fruit weight per plant, and fruit weight per plot.
