PENGARUH PEMBERIAN YOGHURT SUSU KACANG HIJAU TERHADAP PENURUNAN KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL DAN TEBAL LEMAK SUBKUTAN ABDOMINAL WANITA OBESITAS.

Latar Belakang: Obesitas adalah suatu kondisi terakumulasinya lemak secara berlebihan dalam jaringan adiposa yang dapat mengganggu kesehatan individu, sehingga mempercepat perkembangan penyakit degeneratif. Yoghurt Susu Kacang Hijau disingkat Yosukai memiliki kandungan utama fenolik, resistant starch (Rs), protein yang tinggi sehingga berpotensi menurunkan kadar kolesterol total dan tebal lemak subkutan abdominal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Yosukai terhadap penurunan kadar kolesterol total dan tebal lemak subkutan pada wanita obesitas. Metodologi: Jenis penelitian ini adalah true experimental dengan pre-post test with control group design. Sampel berjumlah 12 wanita obesitas yang dibagi secara acak menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan yang diberikan 200 ml Yosukai setiap hari selama 30 hari. Kadar kolesterol total diperiksa dengan Universitas Jenderal Soedirman metode CHOD-PAP dan tebal lemak subktuan abdominal diukur dengan skinfold kaliper digital. Perbedaan rata-rata pada masing-masing kelompok dianalisis dengan paired t test, kemudian perbedaan rata-rata antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan dianalisis dengan independent t test. Hasil Penelitian: Yosukai menurunkan kadar kolesterol total secara signifikan (p<0,05), sementara itu tidak ada perbedaan bermakna antara kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan pada variabel tebal lemak subkutan abdominal (p>0,05). Kesimpulan: Konsumsi Yosukai sebanyak 200 ml/hari setiap hari selama 30 hari mampu menurunkan kadar kolesterol total wanita obesitas dan konsumsi yoghurt mampu memberikan manfaat positif pada penurunan tebal lemak subkutan abdominal.

Background: Obesity is a condition of excessive accumulation of fat in adipose tissue which able to interfere health, thereby accelerating the development of degenerative diseases. Mung Bean Milk Yoghurt, abbreviated as Yosukai, has the main content of phenolic, resistant starch (Rs), high protein so that it has the potential to reduce total cholesterol levels and the thickness of abdominal subcutaneous fat. This study aims to determine the effect of Yosukai on total cholesterol levels and thickness of abdominal subcutaneous fat in obese women. Methodology: This research type is true experimental with pre-post test with control group design. The sample consisted of 12 obese women who were randomly divided into a control group and a treatment group given 200 ml of Yosukai every day for 30 days. Total cholesterol levels were checked by the CHOD-PAP method and the thickness of the abdominal subcutaneous fat was measured using a digital skinfold caliper. The normality of the data was tested by Saphiro-Wilk. The mean difference in each group was analyzed by paired t test, then the mean difference between the control and treatment groups was analyzed by the independent t test. Results: Yosukai significantly reduced total cholesterol levels (p <0.05), meanwhile there was no significant difference between the control and treatment groups on the thickness of the abdominal subcutaneous fat variable (p> 0.05). Conclusion: Consumption of Yosukai as much as 200 ml / day every day for 30 days was able to reduce the total cholesterol level of obese women and consumption of yoghurt was able to provide positive benefits to the thickness of the abdominal subcutaneous fat.
