Latar belakang.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh interaksi antara jenis kuning telur dan lama penyimpanan pada suhu 5°C terhadap motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung.  Metodologi. Penelitian ini  menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAK) pola faktorial 3 x 4.  Jenis kuning telur (k) sebagai faktor utama sedangkan lama penyimpanan (t) sebagai faktor kedua.  Setiap perlakuan diulang sebanyak tiga kali.  Faktor pertama terdiri atas k1: 10% kuning telur ayam niaga + 90% susu skim, k2 : 10% kuning telur itik + 90% susu skim, k3: 10% kuning telur puyuh + 90% susu skim, sedangkan fakor kedua terdiri atas t1 (0 jam), t2 (3 jam), t3 (6 jam), t4 (9 jam).  Hasil. Hasil uji ANAVA menunjukkan kelompok atau periode pengoleksian berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung.  Hasil analisis variansi menunjukkan bahwa interaksi antar jenis kuning telur dalam pengencer susu skim dengan lama penyimpanan pada suhu 5°C berpengaruh tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap motilitas, viabilitas, dan abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung sedangkan jenis kuning telur dan lama penyimpanan berpengaruh sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap  motilitas, viabilitas, dan abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung.  Hasil uji BNJ menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar perbandingan antar perlakuan menunjukkan perbedaan sangat nyata (P<0,01).  Simpulan.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini tidak terdapat keterkaitan antara jenis kuning telur dalam pengencer susu skim dengan lama penyimpanan pada suhu 5°C.  Pengencer kuning telur itik dalam  susu skim menghasilkan nilai motilitas dan viabilitas spermatozoa ayam pelung yang terbaik.  Pengencer kuning telur ayam niaga dan itik dalam susu skim menghasilkan nilai abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung yang terbaik.  Penyimpanan pada suhu 5°C selama 0 jam menghasilkan motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa ayam pelung yang terbaik.

Background.  The purpose of this research was to know the interaction effect between the type of egg yolk to the skim milk diluent and storage time at 5°C on the motility, viability and abnormality of Pelung rooster spermatozoa.  Methodology.  The research used was experimental using randomized completely  block design (RCBD) a with factorial 3 x 4 pattern.  In which egg yolk type (k) was considered as the first factor and storage time (t) as the second factor.  Each of the treatment was replicated three times.  The first factor is k1: 10% commercial chicken egg yolk + 90% skim milk, k2: 10% duck egg yolk + 90% skim milk, k3: 10% quail egg yolk + 90% skim milk, while the second factor is storage time at temperature 5°C which consists of t1 (0 h), t2 (3 hrs), t3 (6 hrs) t4 (9 hrs).  Result.  The results of variance analysis showed that the interaction between type of egg yolk in skim milk diluent with long duration storage at 5°C had no significant effect (P>0.05) on motility, viability and abnormality pelung rooster spermatozoa while the type of egg yolk and the storage time at 5°C had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on the motility, viability, and abnormality of pelung rooster spermatozoa.  The results of the HSD test showed that most comparisons between treatments showed very significant differences (P<0.01).  Conclusion. From the results of this research It can be concluded that  there are no relation between the type of egg yolk in the skim milk diluent and the storage time at 5°C.  The diluent of duck egg yolk in skim milk resulted the highest of motility and viability of pelung rooster spermatozoa.  The diluent of commercial chicken and duck egg yolk in skim milk resulted the lowest spermatozoa abnormality value for pelung rooster spermatozoa. Storing spermatozoa at 5°C for 0 hours resulted in the best motility, viability and abnormality of pelung rooster spermatozoa.
