Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perhitungan terkait harga pokok produksi batik tulis warna alami berdasarkan metode job order costing pada salah satu UMKM yang berada di Kabupaten Bantul yaitu Sungsang Batik. Jenis peneliitan yang digunakan adalah diskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. peran metode job order costing sebagai salah satu metode dalam menentukan harga pokok produksi berperan penting untuk meningkatkan efektifitas sebuah perusahaan dalam menentukan biaya-biaya yang dibutuhkan selama proses produksi barang yang diinginkan oleh konsumen berdasarkan pesanan yang diminta. Metode ini diharapkan dapat membantu perusahaan untuk kedepannya sebagai bahan evaluasi yang dapat digunakan untuk menghitung harga pokok produksi untuk setiap produk yang dibuat sehingga dapat menentukan harga jual yang efektif dan menghasilkan keuntungan sesuai yang diharapkan.

This study aims to determine how the calculation related to the cost of goods manufactured of natural color written batik based on the job order costing method at one of the MSMEs in Bantul Regency, namely Sungsang Batik. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The role of the job order costing method as a method in determining the cost of goods manufactured plays an important role in increasing the effectiveness of a company in determining the costs required during the production process of goods desired by consumers based on the orders requested. This method is expected to help the company in the future as an evaluation material that can be used to calculate the cost of goods manufactured for each product made so that it can determine an effective selling price and generate profits as expected.
