Uji Kemampuan Metabolit Sekunder Jamur Entomopatogen Terhadap Penyakit Moler Pada Bawang Merah

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) kemampuan metabolit sekunder jamur entomopatogen terhadap penyakit moler, 2) pengaruh metabolit sekunder jamur entomopatogen terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah. Penellitian dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Perlindungan Tanaman dan rumah kaca, Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman, Purwokerto dilaksanakan dari bulan Juni sampai September 2020. Penelitian ini terdiri atas dua tahap yaitu In vitro dan In planta. In vitro dilakukan dengan uji antagonis menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap dengan perlakuan F. oxysporum f.sp. cepae dengan Beauveria bassiana, F. oxysporum f.sp. cepae dengan Lecanicillium lecanii, F. oxysporum f.sp. cepae dengan Metarhizium anisopliae diulang enam kali. In planta dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan perlakuan Mankozeb 80%, Beauveria bassiana, Lecanicillium lecanii, Metarhizium anisopliae diulang enam kali. Variabel yang diamati adalah persentase daya hambat, mekanisme antagonis, intensitas penyakit, AUDPC, tinggi tanaman, bobot tanaman segar dan kering, serta bobot umbi segar dan kering. Hasil dari In vitro menunjukkan bahwa metabolit sekunder dari B. bassiana, L. lecanii, dan M. anisopliae, mempunyai daya hambat masing-masing sebesar 60%, 50%, dan 36,6%, dan mekanisme penghambatannya secara antibiosis. Hasil dari In planta menunjukkan intensitas penyakit masing-masing sebesar 31,8%, 19,4%, dan 26,9%. AUDPC masing-masing sebesar 11,47%, 9,42%, dan 3,04%. Pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah terbaik yaitu dengan pemberian metabolit sekunder B. bassiana dengan mengalami peningkatan hasil tinggi tanaman 13,12%, bobot tanaman segar 33,06%, bobot tanaman kering 47,31%, bobot umbi segar 38,24%, dan bobot umbi kering 46,2% lebih baik dari kontrol.

This study aims to find out 1) ability of secondary metabolites of entomopathogenic fungi against moler disease, 2) effect of secondary metabolites of entomopathogenic fungi on growth and production of shallots. The research was carried out at the Laboratory of Plant Protection and Greenhouses, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University, Purwokerto and was conducted from June to September 2020. This research consisted of two stages, namely In vitro and In planta. In vitro, the antagonist test used a completely randomized design with F. oxysporum f.sp. cepae and Beauveria bassiana, F. oxysporum f.sp. cepae and Lecanicillium lecanii, F. oxysporum f.sp. cepae and Metarhizium anisopliae repeated six times. In planta was performed using a randomized block design with Mankozeb 80% treatment, Beauveria bassiana, Lecanicillium lecanii, Metarhizium anisopliae repeated six times. The variables observed were percentage of inhibitory power, antagonistic mechanism, disease intensity, AUDPC, plant height, fresh and dry plant weight, and fresh and dry tuber weight. In vitro results showed that the secondary metabolites of B. bassiana, L. lecanii, and M. anisopliae, had inhibition of 60%, 50%, and 36.6% respectively, and their inhibitory mechanism was antibiotic. The results from In planta showed that the disease intensities were 31.8%, 19.4%, and 26.9%, respectively. AUDPC amounted to 11.47%, 9.42%, and 3.04%, respectively. The best growth and production of shallots is the provision of secondary metabolites B. bassiana with an increase in the yield of 13.12% plant height, 33.06% fresh plant weight, 47.31% dry plant weight, 38.24% fresh tuber weight, and dry tuber weight was 46,2% better than control.
