PENGARUH KONSENTRASI GIBERELIN (GA3) DAN LAMA PERENDAMAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN TERUNG (Solanum melongena L.)

Penelitian bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung terhadap konsentrasi giberelin pada perendaman benih terung, (2) mengetahui pengaruh interaksi konsentrasi giberelin dan lama perendaman benih terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung, (3) mengkaji pengaruh interaksi antara konsentrasi dan lama perendaman benih terhadap pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung, dan (4) memilih perlakuan terbaik atas dasar pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Mei 2020 di screen house lahan exfarm Fakultas Pertanian dan Laboratorium Agronomi dan Hortikultura Fakultas Pertanian, Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan yaitu Rancangan Acak Kelompok Lengkap (RAKL) pola faktorial dengan 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah konsentrasi giberelin 0 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm. Faktor kedua adalah lama perendaman benih 1 jam, 2 jam, 3 jam. Variabel yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman (cm), jumlah daun (helai), diameter batang (cm), luas daun (cm2), jumlah buah, diameter buah (mm), panjang buah (cm), bobot buah (g), dan bobot buah per Ha (ton/ha). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian giberelin pada konsentrasi 200 ppm (K1) menghasilkan rerata tinggi yaitu diameter batang 13,09 cm, jumlah buah 2,78, bobot buah per tanaman 256,11 g, panjang buah 52,33 cm, dan diameter buah 71,33 mm. Pada lama perendaman memberikan hasil waktu terbaik yaitu 2 jam (T1) diantaranya pada diameter batang 13,18 cm, luas daun daun 10118,92 cm2, bobot buah per tanaman 241,67 g, dan bobot buah per ha 5,73 ton/ha. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara konsentrasi dan lama perendaman dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman terung (Solanum melongena L.).

The study aims to (1) knowing the growth and yield response of eggplant to the concentration of gibberellins in soaking eggplant seeds, (2) determine the effect of the interaction gibberellin concentration and seed soaking time on the growth and yield of eggplant, (3) assessing the effect of the interaction between the concentration and the duration of soaking the seeds on the growth and yield of eggplant, and (4) selecting the best treatment based on the growth and yield of eggplant. The research was carried out from January to May 2020 in screen house the land of the exfarm Faculty of Agriculture and the Laboratory of Agronomy and Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, Jenderal Soedirman University. The experimental design used was a completely randomized block design (RAKL) factorial pattern with 2 factors. The first factor is the concentration of gibberellins 0 ppm, 200 ppm, 300 ppm. The second factor was the duration of soaking the seeds for 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours. The variables observed were plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), stem diameter (cm), leaf area (cm2), number of fruits, fruit diameter (mm), fruit length (cm), fruit weight (g), and fruit weight per Ha (ton/ha). The results showed that giving gibberellin at a concentration of 200 ppm (K1) resulted in mean height, namely stem diameter 13.09 cm, the number of fruits 2.78, fruit weight per plant 256.11 g, fruit length 52.33 cm, and fruit diameter 71. 33 mm. The long soaking time gave the best time results, namely 2 hours (T1) including the stem diameter of 13.18 cm, leaf area of 10118.92 cm2, fruit weight per plant 241.67 g, and fruit weight per ha 5.73 tons/ha. There was no interaction between concentration and immersion time in increasing the growth and yield of eggplant (Solanum melongena L.).
