Dalam memilih sekolah tentunya siswa selektif dan diarahkan oleh orang tua karena orang tua menginginkan pendidikan yang terbaik untuk anaknya. Minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah dipengaruhi banyak faktor baik dari internal sekolah maupun dari luar sekolah. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi diantaranya citra sekolah, kegiatan organisasi sekolah, dan lingkungan keluarga. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh citra sekolah, kegiatan organisasi, dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah di SMA N 2 Purwokerto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan organisasi terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah di SMA N 2 Purwokerto; 2) Mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah di SMA N 2 Purwokerto; 3) Mengetahui  pengaruh citra sekolah terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah di SMA N 2 Purwokerto ; 4) Mengetahui apakah citra sekolah memoderasi kegiatan organisasi dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah di SMA N 2 Purwokerto.
Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto yang berjumlah 397 peserta didik dengan sampel 199 peserta didik yang dihitung menggunakan teknik simpel random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa kuesioner, sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t, uji F, uji koefisien determinasi dan uji regresi moderasi. 
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan organisasi, lingkungan keluarga dan citra sekolah berpengaruh positif terhadap minat siswa dalam memilh sekolah dan variabel citra sekolah tidak memoderasi kegiatan organisasi dan lingkungan keluarga terhadap minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah atau dengan kata lain hanya sebagai variabel prediktor moderator. Hal ini dibuktkan dengan F_hitung > F_tabel atau 35,65 > 2,65 dan nilai signifikansi < α atau 0,000 < 0.05. koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,344 yang artinya 34,4% minat siswa dalam memilih sekolah dipengaruhi oleh kegiatan organisai , lingkungan keluarga dan citra sekolah sedangkan 65,6% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Hasil uji regresi moderasi menunjukkan interaksi citra sekolah dengan kegiatan organisasi sebesar -0.51 dan citra sekolah dengan lingkungan keluarga sebesar -0.47 dengan signifkansi > α.

In choosing a school, of course students are selective and directed by their parents because parents want the best education for their children. Students' interest in choosing a school is influenced by many factors both from internal and outside the school. Some of the influencing factors include the image of the school, the activities of the school organization, and the family environment. This study discusses the influence of school image, organizational activities, and family environment on students' interest in choosing schools in SMA N 2 Purwokerto. This study aims to 1) determine the effect of organizational activities on student interest in choosing schools at SMA N 2 Purwokerto; 2) Knowing the influence of the family environment on student interest in choosing schools at SMA N 2 Purwokerto; 3) Knowing the effect of school image on student interest in choosing schools in SMA N 2 Purwokerto; 4) Knowing whether the image of the school moderates organizational activities and the family environment towards students' interest in choosing schools in SMA N 2 Purwokerto.
This type of research is a quantitative research with a survey method. The population in this study were all students of class X SMA Negeri 2 Purwokerto totaling 397 students with a sample of 199 students who were calculated using simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a questionnaire, while the data analysis techniques used were t test, F test, determination coefficient test and moderation regression test.
The results showed that organizational activities, family environment and school image had a positive effect on student interest in choosing a school and the school image variable did not moderate organizational activities and family environment on student interest in choosing a school or in other words only as a moderating predictor variable. This is evidenced by F_count> Ftable or 35.65> 2.65 and a significance value <α or 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination is 0.344, which means that 34.4% of students' interest in choosing a school is influenced by organizational activities, family environment and school image while 65.6% is influenced by other factors. The result of moderation regression test shows that the interaction of the school image with organizational activities is -0.51 and the image of the school with the family environment is -0.47 with a significance> α.
