Penelitian ini berjudul produksi dan nilai produksi sotong (Sepia sp.) yang ditangkap dengan hand line di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap. Hasil tangkapan yang cukup melimpah salah satunya di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap yaitu sotong. Produksi perikanan sotong tahun 2017 mencapai 991,43 ton, sedangkan pada tahun 2018 mengalami peningkatan mencapai 3.045,60 ton dengan nilai produksi 54.438.130.000,-.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui produksi dan nilai produksi sotong (Sepia sp.) yang ditangkap dengan  hand line di Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap. Metode penelitian adalah metode survey melalui observasi dan wawancara untuk mendapatkan informasi mengenai gambaran lokasi penelitian atau keadaan lokasi penelitian secara observasi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap hasil produksi sotong sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata produksi sebesar 360.750 kg/bulan. sedangkan rata-rata nilai produksi sotong mencapai Rp. 5.447.464.269,00. Rata-rata/bulan produksi dan nilai produksi sotong pada tahun 2015-2019 lebih kecil jika dibandingkan dengan pada saat penelitian.

This study entitled the production and production value of cuttlefish (Sepia sp.) Captured by hand line at Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap One of the catches which is quite abundant is Cilacap Ocean Fishery Port, which is cuttlefish. Cuttlefish fisheries production in 2017 reached 991.43 tons, while in 2018 it increased to reach 3,045.60 tons with a production value of IDR 54,438,130,000. The purpose of this study was to determine the production and production value of cuttlefish (Sepia sp.) Captured by handline at Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap. The research method is a survey method through observation and interviews to obtain information about the description of the research location or the condition of the research location in observation. The results of the study showed that the Pelabuhan Perikanan Samudera Cilacap produced from cuttlefish is very high with an average production of 360.750 kg/month. while the average value of cuttlefish production reached IDR 5.447.464.269.00. The average/month of production and production value of cuttlefish in 2015-2019 were smaller when compared to the time of the study.
