Penelitian ini membahas masalah representasi Belanda anti kolonial dalam kumpulan cerpen Semua Untuk Hindia. Teori Representasi Stuart Hall (Pendekatan Intensional) yang dibantu dengan teori New Historisisme digunakan untuk melihat permasalahan dalam kumpulan cerpen ini. Bentuk-bentuk representasi dalam cerpen-cerpen ini menunjukkan maksud dari diciptakannya tokoh Belanda anti kolonial, sedangkan New Historisisme menunjukkan keterkaitan teks kumpulan cerpen ini dengan teks-teks sejarah. Iksaka Banu menggunakan teks-teks sejarah untuk membangun peristiwa-peristiwa dalam kumpulan cerpen ini. Keterkaitan teks-teks sejarah dengan teks-teks cerpen tersebut juga mengungkapkan dari mana Iksaka Banu memiliki ide untuk menciptakan karakter fiktif orang-orang Belanda. Iksaka Banu merepresentasikan tokoh Belanda dengan menjadikannya narator dan tokoh utama dalam cerpen-cerpennya. Iksaka Banu juga menggambarkan mereka sebagai Belanda yang membela kaum pribumi dan menentang kolonialisme Pemerintah Hindia Belanda. Tokoh Belanda anti kolonial diciptakan supaya masyarakat Indonesia melihat kembali peristiwa sejarah kolonial dengan lebih kritis sehingga mereka dapat mematahkan pandangan-pandangan buruk terhadap Belanda.

This study discusses the problem of anti-colonial Dutch representation in a collection of short stories Semua Untuk Hindia. The Stuart Hall Representation Theory (Intensional Approach) which is assisted by the theory New Historicism used to look at the problems in this short story collection. The forms of representation in these short stories show the purpose of the creation of a fictitious anti-colonial Dutchman character, while New Historicism shows the relevance of the text of this short story collection with historical texts. Iksaka Banu uses historical texts to construct events in this short story collection. The linkage of historical texts with the short story texts also revealed where Iksaka Banu had the idea of creating a fictional character of the Dutchman. Iksaka Banu represents the fictional character of the Dutchman by making him the narrator and main character in his short stories. Iksaka Banu also described them as the Dutchman who defended the natives and opposed the colonialism of the Dutch Indies Government. The fictional character of the anti-colonial Dutchman was created so that the Indonesian would look back at the events of colonial history more critically so that they could break the bad views of the Dutch.
