Penelitian ini berjudul Patologi 甘え(Amae) pada Tujuh Tokoh Novel 暗黒女子(Ankoku Joshi) Karya Akiyoshi Rikako, membahas masalah amae dan patologi amae yang dialami oleh ketujuh tokoh dalam novel Ankoku Joshi karya Akiyoshi Rikako. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan amae dan patologi amae pada tujuh tokoh dalam novel Ankoku Joshi karya Akiyoshi Rikako. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori amae dan patologi amae oleh Doi tahun 1992. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menganalisis unsur amae dan patologi amae yang terdapat pada tujuh tokoh dalam novel. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik simak catat. Data penelitian ini berjumlah enam puluh sembilan data yang terbagi menjadi dua yaitu, data amae dan patologi amae.  Analisis dilakukan terhadap tujuh tokoh dalam novel. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan sepuluh jenis 1) amae yaitu a. amanzuru ‘lapang dada’ (1), b. tanomu ‘mengandalkan diri’ (9), c. uramu ‘dendam’ (2), d. toriiru ‘cari muka’ (5), e. higamu ‘curiga’ (3), f. hinekureru ‘berpura-pura’ (1), g. kigane ‘membatasi diri’ (3), h. suneru ‘merajuk’ (1), i. wadakamari ‘dongkol’ (1), dan j. tereru ‘malu-malu’ (1) ; dan tujuh jenis 2) patologi amae yaitu a. toraware ‘keresahan’ (6), b. taijin kyoufu ‘rasa takut kepada orang lain’ (1), c. ki ga sumanai ‘ketidakpuasan’ (4), d. douseiaiteki kanjyou ‘homoseksual’ (9), e. kuyamu /kuyashii ‘menyesal/jengkel’ (8), f. hijyoukan ‘perasaan terluka’ (12), dan g) jibun ga nai ‘tidak berkepribadian’ (2).

This research entitle Pathology 甘え(Amae) on Seven Characters in Novel 暗黒女子 (Ankoku Joshi) by Akiyoshi Rikako. The point of the problem in this reasearch is about amae and pathology amae experienced by those seven characters in the Ankoku Joshi novel by Akiyoshi Rikako. This study aims to describe amae and pathology amae specifically by those characters. This study used theory of amae and pathology amae by Doi 1992. The method employed is descriptive qualitative method by analyzing the elements amae and pathology amae concealed by those seven characters. The data collection technique used was the note technique. The data of this study amounted to sixty nine which were divided into two data that is amae and pathology amae. Analysis was carried out towards the seven characters in the novel. Based on the results of the study, there are ten types of 1) amae that is a. amanzuru ‘to be contented’ (1), b. tanomu ‘rely’ (9), c. uramu ‘revenge’ (2), d. toriiru ‘looking for attention’ (5), e. higamu ‘suspicious’ (3), f. hinekureru ‘to pretend’ (1), g. kigane ‘reserve’ (3), h. suneru ‘to sulk’ (1), i. wadakamari ‘cranky’ (1), dan j. tereru ‘to be shy’ (1) ; and seven types of  2) pathology amae that is a. toraware ‘unrest’ (6), b. taijin kyoufu ‘fear of other’ (1), c. ki ga sumanai ‘dissatisfication’ (4), d. douseiaiteki kanjyou ‘homosexual’ (9), e. kuyamu /kuyashii ‘regret/annoyed’ (8), f. hijyoukan ‘feelings of hurt’ (12), dan g) jibun ga nai ‘no personality’ (2).
