PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN ANIMASI ANTICIPATORY GUIDANCE ANAK USIA TODDLER (1-3 TAHUN) TERHADAP PENGETAHUAN IBU TENTANG PENCEGAHAN CEDERA DI DESA KARANGGUDE KULON

ABSTRAK Latar belakang : Banyak cedera yang tidak disengaja dialami oleh anak-anak terjadi di rumah. Untuk itu perlu suatu pendidikan kesehatan tentang anticipatory guidance pencegahan cedera sebagai sarana informasi menambah pengetahuan para ibu yang mempunyai anak toddler. Animasi menjadi salah satu alternatif media pendidikan kesehatan. Tujuan : Mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan animasi anticipatory guidance anak toddler terhadap pengetahuan ibu tentang pencegahan cedera di Desa Karanggude Kulon. Metode : Metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen semu pre and post test with control group design, dilakukan di Desa Karanggude Kulon dengan jumlah sampel 31 responden untuk masing-masing kelompok kontrol dan intervensi. Responden merupakan ibu yang mempunyai satu anak toddler, berusia 17-48 tahun, berdomisili di Karanggude Kulon, tidak bekerja, dapat membaca dan menulis dengan baik, berada di rumah saat penelitian serta bersedia menjadi responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan animasi anticipatory guidance pencegahan cedera anak toddler yang telah di expert judgment dan kuisioner pernyataan pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian : Penelitian menunjukkan hasil bahwa terdapat perbedaan peningkatan nilai kuesioner pada kelompok intervensi setelah dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan animasi anticipatory guidance pencegahan cedera dibandingkan dengan peningkatan nilai kuesioner pada kelompok kontrol (p = .000). Kesimpulan : Terdapat pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan animasi anticipatory guidance anak usia toddler terhadap pengetahuan ibu tentang pencegahan cedera. ABSTRACT Background: Many children’s accidental injuries occur at home. As a result, a health education about anticipatory guidance for injury prevention is needed as a means of information or additional knowledge for mothers who have toddlers. Animation becomes an alternative media for health education. Purpose: To determine the effect of anticipatory guidance health education on toddler (1-3 year-old) towards mothers’ knowledge about injury prevention in Karanggude Kulon Village. Method: Quantitative research method with a Quasi experimental design of pre and post test with control group design was used in this research. It was done in Karanggude Kulon Village with 31 sample respondents for each control and intervention group. Respondents are mothers who had toddlers, their ages were about 17-48 years old, they lived in Karanggude Kulon, they were unemployements, they were literated (could read and write well), they were at home while the reasearch was done, and they were willing to be respondents. The research instrument used was anticipatory guidance animation for toddler injury prevention that had been given expert judgment and knowledge statement questionnaire. Result: The research showed that there was a difference in the increasing score in the intervention group after the injury prevention anticipatory guidance animation health education was applied compared to the increasing score in the control group ((p = .000). Conclusion: There is an effect of anticipatory guidance health education animation for toddler (1-3 year-old) towards mothers’ knowledge about injury prevention.
