PENGARUH JENIS BAHAN ORGANIK DAN DOSIS PUPUK NPK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN HASIL TANAMAN JAGUNG MANIS ( Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.) DI LAHAN PASIR PANTAI KECAMATAN MIRIT, KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mendapatkan jenis bahan organik yang baik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis di lahan pasir pantai; 2) mendapatkan dosis pupuk NPK yang baik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis di lahan pasir pantai; 3) mendapatkan kombinasi antara jenis bahan organik dan dosis pupuk NPK yang baik untuk pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis di lahan pasir pantai. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Juli sampai Oktober 2019 di lahan Desa Tlogopragoto, Kecamatan Mirit, Kabupaten Kebumen. Penelitian ini merupakan percobaan lapangan dengan rancangan perlakuan faktorial 3 x 3. Faktor pertama yaitu 3 jenis bahan organik yaitu bahan organik kotoran sapi, ayam dan kambing masing-masing 40 ton/ha. Faktor kedua yaitu dosis pupuk NPK yang terdiri dari 3 taraf yaitu 0, 300 dan 600 kg/ha. Diperoleh 9 kombinasi yang dialokasikan pada lahan percobaan dengan RAKL 3 ulangan. Variabel yang diamati meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, bobot segar tanaman, bobot segar akar, bobot kering tanaman, bobot kering akar, umur berbunga, bobot tongkol, indeks sampah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tiga jenis bahan organik memiliki potensi yang tidak berbeda pada pertumbuhan tanaman jagung manis. Perlakuan pupuk NPK dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman jagung manis dibandingkan tanpa perlakuan. Pemberian dosis 300 dan 600 kg/ha menunjukkan hasil yang tidak berbeda. Terjadi pengaruh interaksi antara jenis bahan organik dengan dosis pupuk NPK pada variabel pertumbuhan dan hasil yaitu bobot segar tanaman, bobot kering tanaman dan bobot tongkol. Jenis bahan organik kotoran ayam dengan pemberian pupuk NPK tidak berpengaruh apabila dibandingkan dengan kontrol, sedangkan jenis bahan organik kotoran sapi dan kambing apabila diberi pupuk NPK mampu meningkatkan variabel tersebut.

This study aims to: 1) obtain a good type of organic material for growth and yield of sweet corn plants in coastal sandy land; 2) get a good dose of NPK fertilizer for growth and yield of sweet corn plants in coastal sandy land; 3) get a combination of types of organic material and a good dose of NPK fertilizer for growth and yield of sweet corn plants in coastal sandy land. The study was conducted from July to October 2019 on the land of Tlogopragoto Village, Mirit Subdistrict, Kebumen Regency and the Agriculture Horticulture Laboratory of Jenderal Soedirman University. This research is a field experiment with a 3 x 3 factorial treatment design. The first factor is the type of organic material consisting of 3 types, namely organic matter of cow, chicken and goat, each with 40 tons / ha. The second factor is the NPK fertilizer dosage consisting of 3 levels, 0, 300 and 600 kg / ha. 9 combinations were allocated to the experimental field with a Completely Randomized Block Design of 3 replications. The experimental unit is in the form of a test plot with a size of 3 m x 1.7 m. The observed variables include growth and yield variables. Growth variables are plant height, number of leaves, plant fresh weight, root fresh weight, plant dry weight, root dry weight. Result variables are flowering age, ear weight, garbage index. The results showed three types of organic matter namely cow dung, goat dung and chicken manure have the potential that is not different in the growth of sweet corn plants. NPK fertilizer treatment can increase the growth and yield of sweet corn compared to without treatment. In this case doses of 300 and 600 kg / ha showed no different results. The effect of the interaction between types of organic matter with NPK fertilizer doses on the growth and yield variables are plant fresh weight, plant dry weight and cob weight. The type of organic matter of chicken manure by giving NPK fertilizer has no effect when compared to the control, while the type of organic matter of cow manure and goat if given NPK fertilizer can increase these variables. The NPK dose of 300 kg / ha gives results that are not different from 600 kg / ha.
